The research on the academic pressure,academic self-efficacy and coping style of medical students in higher vocational college,intending to explore the current situation and relationship of three variables.Based on the previous research,the research provides the theoretical basis for the schools and society.The"College students' academic pressure questionnaire","academic sense of self-efficacy questionnaire"and"Coping Style Questionnaire"of 535 freshmen and sophomores in Xiamen Medical College conducted a questionnaire survey.Using SPSS 19 statistical software to data statistics and analysis.The results are as follows:First of all,the score of academic pressure of vocational medical students is generally in the middle development,there are significant differences in gender,grade,subject,homeplace,student cadres and applying types in the level of academic pressure of vocational medical students,but there is not obvious difference in only child.The score of academic self-efficacy of vocational medical students is generally in the middle development,there are significant differences in gender,grade and applying type in the level of academic self-efficacy of vocational medical students,but there are not obvious differences in subject,homeplace,only child and student cadre.The score of coping style of vocational medical students is generally in the middle development,there are significant differences in gender,grade and applying type in the level of coping style of vocational medical students,but there are not obvious differences in subject,homeplace,only child and student cadre.Secondly,academic ability self-efficacy has a significant negatively correlation with prospects pressure,achievement goal pressure,task requires pressure,competition pressure and parents pressure.Academic ability self-efficacy has a significant positively correlation with positive coping style and has a significant negatively correlation with negative coping style;academic behavior self-efficacy has a significant positively correlation with positive coping style.Positive coping style has a significant positively correlation with expect pressure;negative coping style has a significant positively correlation with prospects pressure,achievement goal pressure,task requires pressure-competition pressure,setbacks pressure,parents pressure,expect pressure and environmental pressure.Thirdly,negative coping style has a partially mediate role between academic pressure and academic self-efficacy of vocational medical students,and the mediating effect accounted for 14.55%of the total effect.
