In recent years,with people's increasing attention to talent training and talent quality,teaching quality evaluation has become an important content of education quality monitoring.Students,as direct witnesses of teaching and beneficiaries of teaching effects,have the most intuitive feelings and profound understanding of the teaching process,and students' evaluation of teaching has become an important means to measure teachers' teaching quality.As the "leading organizer" of evaluation,index is not only the basis of carrying out evaluation,but also the core of carrying out evaluation.It plays an important role in guiding the evaluation direction and standardizing the evaluation content.Therefore,the establishment of a scientific and reasonable evaluation index is the most important task in the evaluation of students.This study is divided into two parts.The first part is problem study.The author collected the current student evaluation and teaching index system of 20 colleges and universities.Secondly,it compares it with the principles of index construction to find the disconnection between "the actual state" and "the supposed state".In order to make the questions closer to students' reality,the author will interview 20 students to get their opinions on the indicators.Finally,combining the text analysis results with the interview results,the existing problems of students' evaluation indexes are formed.The second part is the construction research.The construction study includes the index construction part and the general problem construction part.Both studies are advanced under the guidance of qualitative research paradigm.The former adopts the research method of grounded theory to encode 33 curriculum papers and construct evaluation and teaching indexes reflecting students' needs from bottom to top.The latter is to use focus group discussion to construct a general problem from the perspective of students.The research results of the two parts finally form a teaching evaluation index system that reflects the needs of students.It is found that there are some problems in the current teaching evaluation indexes of colleges and universities,such as the lack of independence among theevaluation indexes,the violation of the completeness of the index design,the unacceptability of some indexes,the lack of testability of some indexes and the lack of pertinence of the evaluation contents.The author tries to break the previous quantitative research paradigm of constructing indicators by collecting and analyzing a large amount of data,follow the new concept of teaching evaluation of teachers,follow the idea of "promoting teaching through evaluation" under the guidance of qualitative research paradigm,and construct teaching evaluation indicators and general problems that reflect students' evaluation needs.Finally,it is found that the types of indicators of students' needs mainly include: indicators that highlight teachers' individuality,indicators that represent professional level,indicators that highlight the interaction between teachers and students,indicators that reflect teaching ability and indicators that test teaching effect.The evaluation of general questions concerned by students mainly involves: general impression of teachers;Teaching style;Harvest and inspiration;Comments and Suggestions,etc.Based on the research idea of finding and solving problems,this study looks for the problems existing in current indicators,and builds an indicator system reflecting students' needs on this basis.Through the design of this study,research methods,researchAfter reviewing and reflecting on the research process,the author finally summarizes some Suggestions in the process of index construction.Stick to standardization and highlight differences;According to the teaching practice,update the index content in time;To make students participate in the development of indicators;Develop targeted evaluation content;Indicators should be expressed using the student discourse system.
