Since the reform and opening up,along with the accelerated process of industrialization,China's urbanization has experienced a low starting point,faster development process.With the transformation of social and economic development,a large number of migrant workers continue to shift from rural to urban areas,to participate in China's urban construction in the past.The appeared of a lot agricultural personnel,they are difficult to integrate into urban society,resulting in the public process lag.Currently farmers have become the main body of China's industrial workers in the economic restructuring and urbanization background,employment of migrant workers has become an important economic and social phenomenon.They are in the process of urban employment,facing the "peasant" and "workers" dual positioning,wandering between the rural and the marginal groups of the city.Nanjing as an important center of the eastern coastal city,with a large number of floating population,the surrounding areas of rural surplus labor force to a large number of urban transfer.In order to attract more migrant workers to Nanjing to employment and set up a business,since 2009,Nanjing government specially set up a "migrant workers work leading group",promulgating some relevant policies on the employment of migrant workers,children's education,social security,employment training,social management,etc.This paper takes the problem of migrant workers' employment status in Nanjing as the research object,to nearly ten years of industry statistics as a data base,use survey and interview,respectively,from the total employment of the calendar year,depropagation,employment way,the direction of employment,social benefits,etc.Combined with the relevant policies,social environment,labor market and other factors analysis of migrant workers in Nanjing changes in employment situation.The study found that the total employment of migrant workers in Nanjing increased year by year,2016 has reached 1.9 million people,most of which are non-local household registration of rural labor force;the overall employment of migrant workers in a short supply situation,but the structural contradictions are more prominent;In recent years,affected by industrial restructuring,migrant workers gradually from the secondary industry to the tertiary industry transfer,Employment tendencies concentrated in the domestic service industry,transport,catering,retail.In the employment mode,most of the migrant workers in Nanjing through the network recruitment platform and family or friends introduced in the form of employment.They are more hope that the government to build recruitment platform.In the job satisfaction,the basic does not meet the existing wage levels and rest time,look forward to higher pay and more rest time.In social status,discrimination is not common,most people want to stay in urban employment.The study shows that the current employment difficulties of migrant workers in Nanjing are mainly the plight of the social environment and the plight of self-development,the dilemma of social environment,such as the dual structure of urban and rural areas and the imbalance of urban and rural development,is an important factor restricting the stable employment of migrant workers,equal employment and entrepreneurial development.In the allocation of educational resources,children of education,employment arrangements,income distribution,household registration and other aspects can't be treated equally;self-development dilemma for the education level and the level of vocational skills is not high,poor adaptability,weak sense of entrepreneurship and so on.From the recent trend,the total employment of migrant workers in Nanjing will continue to grow,still concentrated in the second and third industries,modern manufacturing and modern service industry will increase the number of practitioners.On this basis,this paper puts forward some effective policy suggestions to promote migrant workers to improve the quality of employment and employment stability.
