With the deepening of curriculum reform,curriculum leadership has become a hot issue in the field of curriculum and education.Curriculum leadership is an operational system for curriculum practice in various levels,including national,local,school and classroom levels.After a multi-level redistribution of power,curriculum leadership is no longer solely the responsibility of educational authorities at all levels,but also the responsibility of schools and even of every teacher.Teachers are the key element in curriculum reform.Every curriculum reform is achieved through teachers’ teaching activities.The curriculum leadership of teachers directly affects the curriculum construction of schools.Primary school education is the foundation of basic education,and primary school teachers are the key force to promote curriculum reform.However,the current curriculum leadership of primary school teachers is generally weak,which seriously affects the effective implementation of curriculum construction.Therefore,it is pretty urgent to study the curriculum leadership of primary school teachers.The author of this thesis adopted the method of narrative study.The teacher W in H Primary School in Shijiazhuang City was selected as the typical case to carry out the research.By listening to the stories,thinking and exploring,the development process of W was presented,and the formation of W’s curriculum leadership was outlined.On the basis of this,the author thought about the influencing factors and the promotion strategies of W’s curriculum leadership.First of all,the author combed the core concepts of “leadership”,“curriculum leadership”,“curriculum lead of teacher” and “curriculum leadership of teacher”,clarified the connotation and composing elements of primary school teachers’ curriculum leadership.Secondly,through in-depth interviews and physical collection and analysis,the author learned about the “history” of W’s development,aroused the construction of curriculum formation process of W,explained the main stages and characteristics of the formation process.In this study,the author presented the story of W’s curriculum leadership in the way of “demonstration”,carried out the rational thinking of the story in the way of “narration”.Thirdly,starting from the five factors of W’s life experience,personal characteristics,the influence of key events,the support of important persons and the cultural environment of school,the author analyzed how these factors promoted the formation of W’s curriculum leadership.Lastly,the summary and reflection of the author could render enlightenment for readers.In this part,the author tried to put forward the feasible strategies to improve the curriculum leadership of primary school teachers.This study is not intended to probe the universal and structural theory.The author aimed to seek the meaning and value behind the story,concentrated on the introspection and realization in order to arouse the resonance of readers and attract various interpretations of the meaning.
