Educational evaluation is an important part of kindergarten education,a basic feedback mechanism for educational activities,and an effective means to guide the healthy development of children and improve the quality of kindergarten education.At present,the evaluation methods of kindergartens need to be diversified,systematic,and take into account the process and the results simultaneously to promote the development of young children,improve the quality of activities and the quality of scientific inquiry activities.As an systematic evaluation method,the performance evaluation pays attention to the performance in the process and results of children,many scholars have expounded its important value to preschool education.In this study,two senior classes of two kindergartens in Harbin was randomly selected as the study sample class.The action research method was used to study the application of performance evaluation in early childhood science inquiry activities.The research data was collected through observation method and interview method to analyze the application process.Suggestions are put forward to provide reference for teachers to apply performance evaluation in scientific inquiry activities of senior kindergarten.The first chapter analyzes the concept,characteristics,task type,scoring rules and performance evaluation of performance evaluation through the analysis of related literatures at home and abroad,in order to have a comprehensive grasp of performance evaluation.The second chapter analyzes the applicability of performance evaluation in the scientific inquiry activities of children from the perspective of expressive evaluation and the connotation and characteristics of early childhood science inquiry activities.Performance evaluation has a common foundation with early childhood science inquiry activities—focusing on the creation of real situations,common concerns—focusing on processes rather than outcomes,and common values—to promote the multifaceted development of young children.The third chapter conducts action research on the application of performance evaluation in the large-scale scientific inquiry activities,and analyzes the action effects.The study found that the application of performance evaluation in the large-scale scientific inquiry activities is conducive to the cultivation of children's scientific spirit and quality,the mastery of scientific methods and skills,and the construction of scientific knowledge and experience;it is conducive to teachers' evaluation ability,research ability,practical ability and reflection.The improvement of ability.However,the application also has difficulties in requiring teachers' professional competence,subjective influence on the reliability and validity of the evaluation process,and time consuming and labor-intensive evaluation process.The fourth chapter is based on the analysis of the application process of the performance evaluation in the large-scale scientific inquiry activities,from ensuring the scientific content of the evaluation content,focusing on the orientation of the performance task,improving the operability of the evaluation tool and improving the professional quality of the evaluator.Some aspects have proposed relevant recommendations for effective application of performance evaluation in large-scale scientific inquiry activities.
