Science and technology is an important embodiment of a country's comprehensive national strength,it is important to build a child's future scientific dream,it also presents new opportunities and challenges to kindergarten science education.The improvement of scientific quality should be started from the young children,pre-school children's science education can lay a good foundation for the creation of a generation of citizens with scientific and technological qualities,it is of great significance to improve the scientific quality of young children in the future.The Guidelines for Kindergarten Education(Trial)promulgated in 2001,"Science","Society","Language","Health”and "Art" are clearly listed as five areas.The objective of the field of science is to stimulate the curiosity and inquiry of young children,help young children to use observation,comparison,analysis,operation and other methods to explore activities,get preliminary scientific experience and scientific inquiry ability.This study takes 13 large classes in three kindergartens as an example,using interviews,observations,questionnaires and other methods to investigate the current situation of the exploration activities in the kindergarten science area,this paper analyzes the reasons for the problems in the development of the inquiry activities in the kindergarten science area,and then put forward effective recommendations,to improve the quality of kindergarten science education to provide the main reference and reference.The survey found that the main problems existing in the development of the exploration activities in the kindergarten science area mainly include:the degree of activity is different,the teacher's guidance is not enough,the awareness of young children's participation is not strong,the material utilization is not sufficient,the activity is not in place,the participation of parents is not enough.The main reasons are:the lack of attention in kindergartens,the lack of profound scientific concepts of teachers,the lack of cognitive ability of young children,the uneven distribution of materials and teaching aids,the low level of parental participation and the inadequate use of community resources.On this basis,the paper puts forward some suggestions for the development of the inquiry activities of the kindergarten science district:increase the support of the exploration activities in the scientific area and improve the quality of the activities;improve teachers' self-development consciousness and enhance their scientific literacy;stimulate the interest of young children in the exploration activities of science area;provide suitable teaching aids and materials to improve the effectiveness of scientific education;create the conditions of free inquiry and create the atmosphere for young children to participate in scientific activities;enhance the awareness of home cooperation;make full use of community resources to enhance the community's ability to participate in science education.In the hope that these suggestions can arouse pre-school education educators to think and pay attention to science education.
