At present,the time management of college students is becoming a hot spot in the fields of pedagogy,management and psychology,and has also been paid attention to by educators in colleges and.As an important driving force for the future development of the country,the time of graduate students is very valuable,which plays an important role in the growth of graduate students,the construction and development and the promotion of schools.The management of spare time is directly related to the development of graduate students' comprehensive qualities and abilities,and it is also the key to the success of graduate students' career and how much they get.As an important part of graduate student group,academic graduate students have more spare time than professional graduate students,and they are more likely to have problems in the management of spare time.In the extracurricular life,how to effectively manage the time,improve their own academic,scientific research level and comprehensive quality has become the problem that every academic graduate student must solve.Solving this problem successfully is helpful for academic graduate students to improve their abilities,improve their comprehensive quality,realize all-round development and improve their training quality.According to the daily observation and communication,combined with interviews with some academic graduate students,the author finds that there are many problems in the management of after-school time.The phenomenon of wasting spare time is more remarkable.Therefore,it is necessary to study the management of academic graduate students' spare time.The main content of this paper consists of three parts:The first part is about the present situation and problems of after-school time management of academic graduate students in X University.It expounds the composition of investigation object,the present situation of after-school time management of academic graduate students and the problems of after-school time management.Among them,the present situation of after-school time management consists of three parts: the total amount of after-school time,the understanding of the importance of after-school time and the satisfaction degree of self-management of after-school time.The problems of after-school time management are mainly reflected in three aspects: lack of planning,unreasonable allocation of after-school time and low effective utilization rate of spare time.The second part is the analysis of the causes of the spare time management of the academic postgraduates in X University,from the external reasons and internal reasons.External reasons includecompanions,schools,mentors,and society.The internal reasons include lack of interest in academic majors and poor executive and self-control abilities.Finally,suggestions for improving the management of academic postgraduates' spare time in X University are put forward,mainly from the aspects of school,society and academic graduate students themselves.Among them,colleges and universities should carry out after-school time management education,perfect academic graduate student assessment and evaluation system,build a good environment,carry out extracurricular time activities,and give full play to the role of postgraduates as mentors;The society should rectify the entertainment places,construct the study places and standardize the practice places,and the academic graduate students themselves should improve their self-control,reasonably manage their spare time,and carry out peer education.
