The measurement and evaluation of the visitor learning outcomes is an important part of the study about "Museum Learning".This paper focuses on three museum exhibition units, exploring how the learning outcomes differ when similar information is displayed using showcase and multimedia(video installation, interactive tablet and gamification)approaches.Comparison, questionnaires and interviews were conducted to determine the learning outcomes. Results show that statistically different learning outcomes between showcase and video installation, but no significant difference between showcase and interactive interfaces or gamification. Moreover, while results confirm a correlation between visitor gender and typologies,as well as visitor gender and learning outcome(only in video installation and interactive interfaces),there is no evident correlation between learning outcomes and visitor typologies. |
