Since the introduction of life education into China,many schools have launched different forms of life education courses,and accumulated certain curriculum experience and materials.Only vocational schools,especially secondary vocational schools,rarely offer life education courses.At the same time,the unique economic and social development,and the lack of understanding of life for secondary vocational school students in their areas have become one of the obstacles to the development of local secondary vocational education.Taking A secondary vocational school of Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in southeastern Guizhou as the practice base,and aiming at constructing the curriculum system of life education for secondary vocational students with ethnic minority characteristics,this paper chooses curriculum materials nearby,evaluates students' needs,defines curriculum development methods,and determines curriculum content.On the basis of inheriting and protecting the outlook on life of ethnic minorities and existing curriculum content and curriculum development methods,the paper complements and improves the curriculum development of life education in ethnic minority areas with local characteristics,further constructs the school-based curriculum development model of life education in ethnic minority areas,promotes cultural integration,the positive life attitude and comprehensive self-cognitive development of secondary vocational students,so as to help secondary vocational students establish positive learning,good faith life and enterprising life.Attitude and consciousness.The research shows that the school-based curriculum development model of life education in minority areas needs to highlight the four characteristics of practical activities,situational learning,system design and multi-cultural integration.Based on the advantages integration and unique innovation of the current mature curriculum development model,the needs of traditional curriculum development should be taken into account in curriculum development,and the characteristics of the times and regional education should also be integrated,which is recognized by students and provides new ideas and inspiration for curriculum development.
