In recent years,the value of local knowledge in education has gradually attracted the attention of educators.Especially in the field of minority education,the value of local knowledge can not be ignored.It is of great practical significance for the development of school-based curriculum in ethnic schools to cultivate the core quality of students,to inherit local culture,to protect the local environment,and to promote the development of local economy and society.This paper mainly through explorating,sorting and filtering local knowledge,the local knowledge further “Curriculum”,presenting a local characteristics of school-based curriculum development for middle school in ethnic minority areas,aims to construct the strategy of applying local knowledge to the development of school-based curriculum.This paper uses the case study method,the specific research methods include observation,interviews and physical collection.The researchers took time to take a semester in the Z middle school,through the methods of observation and interview,we can understand the general situation of Z middle school from the aspect of "surface",eight local teachers with more knowledge and teaching experience were selected,including the students of the first grade of twenty,the parents of the students and the cooperation of the two local people in this study.On the basis of in-depth interviews,we identified the "friendly" as a special case,mining and sorting out local knowledge,and the formation of school-based curriculum.In the process of schoolbased curriculum development,this study in accordance with the four principles of the requirements of the national policy,students' actual level of development and the demand of special friendly local knowledge screening and Z middle school running conditions,then a selection of local knowledge “of course”,determine the schoolbased curriculum goal,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation methods,complete showing the friendly blooms in case of school-based curriculum examples.On the basis of the development of school-based curriculum in small scale and small-scale practice,we found that the school-based curriculum development achievements and problems.Based on a series of steps of school-based curriculum development,this paper sums up the construction strategies of applying local knowledge to school-based curriculum in Ethnic Areas: To evaluate the school,determine the subject of school-based curriculum development;collecting,sorting and rational selection of local knowledge;the establishment of local knowledge curriculum resources in minority areas;determine the principle of the development of school-based curriculum in minority areas;clear the school-based curriculum development process.
