Input-output Analysis Of Information Industry In Zhejiang Province

With the popularization of Internet,the rapid increase of information as well as the development of information technology,the information industry has become an import driving force for today's social and economic development,and is the fundamental,strategic and leading industry of the national economy.China's "13th Five-Year Plan" clearly pointed out that strategic emerging industries such as information technology represent a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation,and are key areas for achieving new competitive advantages and cultivating new development momentum.Zhejiang Province also attaches great importance to the development of the information industry.The provincial party committee and the provincial government have publicly stated on many occasions that we should develop the information industry into a trillion-scale industry that can support the future development of Zhejiang province.Specifically,we must unswervingly promote the social and economic information construction,give priority to the development of the software industry and vigorously develop the electronic information manufacturing industry and information service industry.Within this context,this paper takes the information industry of Zhejiang Province as the research object,firstly sorts out the literature on the connotation and classification of information industry home and abroad,and obtains the accounting scope of the information industry of Zhejiang Province.The relevant content is included in the manufacturing industry,wholesale and retail,information transmission,software and information technology services,leasing and business services,residential service,repair and other services,culture,sports and entertainment industries.Then,using the industry separation coefficient method,the relevant departments of the information industry in the input-output table of Zhejiang Province are separated and merged,and the input-output tables of the information industry in Zhejiang Province in 2002,2007 and 2012 are compiled.Based on that,through the input-output model,this paper quantitative analysis of the economic and technological correlation between the information industry and the traditional industry in Zhejiang Province from both static and dynamic perspectives.According to the analysis of economic structure,it is found that although the scale of the information industry of our province is still small,its proportion of the province's added value has surpassed the primary industry in 2007,second only to the secondary industry and the tertiary industry;According to the analysis of industrial dependence,the dependence of the information industry on the traditional industries is obviously greater than the dependence of the traditional industries on the information industry.On the one hand it indicates that the information industry can greatly promote the development of other industries,on the other hand it also indicates that the informatization level of the tradition industries was still at a low level,so their demand for the information industry was not high;According to the analysis of the effect of industrial production,it was found that the information manufacturing industry is not only the pillaring industry of the province's economic development,but also the bottleneck industry.And with the rapid development of information technology,the information industry is playing an increasingly important role in the economy;According to the analysis of the ultimate demand production induction,the information industry of our province is an output-dependent industry,mainly based on output pull.In addition,this paper supplements the input-output analysis with grey relational analysis,and further studies the relationship between the information industry and other industries in Zhejiang Province from a holistic perspective.The study concludes that the information industry has a high degree of correlation between the information industry and the tertiary industry and the secondary industry from the perspective of similarity and proximity.The information industry can really drive other industries,especially the development of the tertiary industry and the secondary industry.Finally,based on the conclusions drawn from the input-output analysis and the gray correlation analysis,this paper puts forward some opinions on how to guide the development of Zhejiang's information industry more reasonably,hoping to help improve the comprehensive competitiveness of Zhejiang's information industry and to promote the industrial upgrade.
