The Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School History issued by the ministry of education of the People's Republic of China(2017 edition)points out that the curriculum objective of high school history teaching is to cultivate students' five core qualities,namely,historical materialism,space-time concept,historical evidence,historical interpretation and family and country feelings.The value of oral history in high school history teaching has been paid more and more attention in recent years.Based on the investigation of teachers and students in four high schools in Hanzhong city,this paper discusses the current situation,feasibility and specific methods of using oral history to cultivate students' five core qualities in history in high school history teaching in five parts.Including an introduction,the paper consists of five parts.The introduction to the thesis Oral History Teaching and High School History Discipline Core Literacy Training,from the definition of basic concepts,problems,research content and significance,as well as the theoretical basis of four aspects were discussed.The first chapter is about the development of oral history at home and abroad.Oral history recorded by word of mouth has an early origin.However,oral history in the modern sense was born in the United States in the 1940 s.From slow development to expansion to various fields,the academic research achievements have been constantly enriched,and it has affected various countries till now.In the 1960 s,the teaching of oral history has been developed in foreign countries,but in China it is relatively late.With the continuous enrichment of the theory and practice of oral history teaching in China,many achievements have affirmed the value of oral history teaching,but there are few studies on the relationship between oral history teaching and core literacy,which need to be further explored.Chapter two,the value of oral history teaching to the cultivation of the core accomplishment of history.The value of oral history teaching has been recognized by the academic circle.Both oral history materials and oral history research methods used in high school history teaching are conducive to the cultivation of students' core qualities of five historical disciplines,namely,historical materialism,space-time concept,historical evidence,historical interpretation and family and country feelings.Chapter three,the teaching status of oral history in high school.It can be seen from the interviews and questionnaires of students and history teachers in four high schools in Hanzhong that oral history teaching has been applied in high schools at present,but the utilization rate is not high.The teacher thinks that there are still some difficulties in the teaching of oral history,but he does not deny the value of oral history teaching to the cultivation of students' core accomplishment in history.Most of the students have some understanding of oral history teaching,recognize the value of oral history teaching to the cultivation of the core accomplishment of the history discipline,and are willing to participate in the inquiry-based teaching of oral history.The fourth chapter is based on the teaching design of oral history based on the core qualities of history.The third lesson Great War of Resistance Against Japan is part of the political history of the High School History,Compulsory One published by the People's Publishing House.As an example of the content of the fourth topic of social and economic history,The Changes of Modern Social Life in China,How to Cultivate the Core Literacy of Historical Disciplines with Oral History Teaching is the teaching design.
