Unmarried Female Doctor's Choice Of Dilemma

In recent years,young people's marriage situation attracts the attention of scholars from each field.The blind date program like If You Are the One and other blind date social activities in the city reflect new condition in marriage.Limited by age,education and their own requirements,female Doctors confront with special problems in mate selection.Influenced by Western individualistic values as well as Chinese traditional concepts like “get married then start the carrier” and “Women should be married in proper marriage age”,new issues arise which female Doctors have to face.In the past,scholars made fruitful researches on the unmarried young women,but few of them were specialized about female Doctors'.Social media,female Doctor's parents,and even some female Doctors themselves think “unmarried in the proper marriage age” is a special and embarrassing thing.There are similarities and differences between female Doctors and other females in unmarried topics,so it is necessary to study the marriage problem of female Doctors alone.By reading a large number of literature,combing analysis,and in-depth interviews to understand real reasons and situations of senior female Doctors unmarried condition,I hope to give a full picture of female Doctors to dissolve misunderstandings from the society and the media and to promote social equality development.According to the study,it was found that although many scholars thought that female Doctors unmarried in a growing age could not be called “problem” or “dilemma” for being single might be the result of their own choice,I haven't found the exact data or investigation on “females are not willing to married”.On the contrary,all the female Doctors I interviewed randomly are willing to get married and they are confronted with mate selection dilemma.For one thing,they hope to get married as soon as possible to further complete socialization and get rid of the pressure from family and the society;for another,they uphold the faith of “haste makes no up”,hoping to find a full-satisfied gentleman as their husband.The fact is that the men who can match the female Doctors are not enough;female Doctors' reasonable mate selection criteria haven't made it easier.There are four main reasons why they are in a dilemma when facing mate selection.Firstly,traditional concepts like “Male excellent,Female less”,“Perfect Match in the aspect of family” deeply influence female Doctors.They attach too many additional factors besides feeling of love,therefore,when facing the choice “Rose or bread” or “follow your own heart or obey parents' orders”,they fall into a dilemma.Secondly,some high rating TV dramas and popular romance novels exaggerate depicting the image of “Prince Charming” or “Male God” which subtly influences female Doctors' mate selection requirements.Some female Doctors are looking for their soulmates according to the temperament of “Male God” which makes the selection even harder.In addition,the mass media's negative reports on female Doctors leave a “stereotype” image in men who are ready to get married,which is not good for female Doctors' mate selection.Thirdly,by the impact of social networks,female Doctors' effective and high-quality social activities are not enough.Moreover,the pressure from academic and working life squeezes their social time,which is another reason that cannot be ignored.Fourthly,individuals' different psychological characteristics and differences in gender patterns of thinking also affect their mate selection result.This paper puts forward some suggestions to solve this issue through the analysis of senior female Doctors' mate selecting dilemma and related factors.
