With the promulgation of the "National Fitness Program" and the awakening of personal consciousness,the marathon game has rapidly developed throughout the country and has become a favorite sport among people.In order to better promote the development of marathon events,we need to pay attention to the management of marathon events,especially value management.This article examines The Cool City·Lipanshui Summer International Marathon Game in business processes from the perspective of value management and value engineering,and studies the value chain of the Marathon.Through field survey,expert interviews,questionnaire surveys and literature materials,this paper try to analyze the value chain of The Cool City·Lipanshui Summer International Marathon Game.By building a model for the impact factors of marathon operations,this article analyzes the overall status of the value chain from the aspects such as event planning,market development,event preparation and media activities and event operation structure.The research shows that the game led by the government and undertake a large social function.Therefore,the brand building and media promotion capabilities have yet to be further improved.In order to achieve sustainable development,the game must strengthen market-oriented promotion.This paper proposes a brand promotion strategy,and proposes to identify the core competitiveness through clear market positioning.Secondly,in response to the lack of marketization,this paper proposes a market development and innovation strategy,which is to add more ideas and connections in the development of the surrounding products and the carnival in the future.Finally,it is recommended to strengthen the work ability of each department and the communication and cooperation between departments,such asexpanding the publicity channels and enhancing the service capabilities of the sponsors,so as to enhance the overall value level of the event.
