Research On Event Operation Of Chengdu International Marathon

Along with the rapid development of social economy,the awareness of mass fitness is increasing,sports are getting more and more concern and love,and the development of sports industry has become an inevitable trend.As a new force in the sports industry,the marathon is playing a promoting role under the support of the state and the government.In 2017,the first Chengdu International Marathon was held,adding a touch of color to the development of Chengdu's sports events.The research on the operation of the event is the central link to promote the development of sports events.This article takes the 2017 Chengdu International Marathon as the starting point to study the advantages and disadvantages of the Chengdu International Marathon in the operation of the event,and make the continuous contribution the development of the Chengdu International Marathon.This study studies the operation process of the Chengdu International Marathon by means of literature,fieldwork and comparative analysis.This study compares the Chengdu International Marathon with the Boston Marathon,the New York Marathon,the Berlin Marathon,the Beijing Marathon and the Hangzhou Marathon.It is believed that the development of the Chengdu International Marathon must be properly adjusted for the race route,based on the event itself.The highlights of the event,the core value of the event,the combination of event development and urban development,to create a boutique event.At the same time,this study uses SWOT analysis to analyze the internal and external environment of Chengdu International Marathon,and points out the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of the event in the development process.At the same time,some suggestions were put forward for the problems existing in the Chengdu International Marathon:(1)adapting to the development trend of marathon events,strengthening cooperation with running groups;(2)improving the management ability of event organizers;improving the service level of events;(3)Move closer to the marathon tournament alliance and learn from the experience of other successful events;(4)Deeply explore the value of the Chengdu International Marathon and create a special brand event;(5)Give full play to the integration ability of the marathon and improve the Chengdu sports industry chain.
