Poor college students are a vulnerable group on the university campus.They are a group of poor people who need special care and system guarantee.It is the fundamental goal of education and relief for every poor student to complete his studies smoothly.In recent years,Guangxi has paid more and more attention to the rescue of higher education.On the basis of fully implementing the national and autonomous regional student rescue policies,poor students have received various channels of funding,and the phenomenon of “learning from poverty” is on the decrease.The poverty-stricken group is getting rid of poverty due to education,and the situation of changing the fate is more and more common.The concept of “knowledge changes fate” has become increasingly popular among the people.Education aid,it has greatly promoted the harmonious development of China's society and reflects the social principles of education equity.Guangxi education relief work has achieved good results,but the problem still exists.Such as the imperfection of the poverty students' standards,and in the process of relief,for example,they attache great importance to the material and economic support in pursuit of economic and social benefits,but paid less attention to poor students' respect such as high-level emotional need,mental relief is limited,it is not conducive to the comprehensive and free development of poor college students.The economic assistance of poor students in colleges and universities is an important part of the work of higher education institutions in China.Therefore,it has received extensive attention from all quarters and is also an important embodiment of education fairness in China.With the rapid development of China's economy and society,the needs of poor students' economic assistance are becoming more and more complicated.How to meet their higher needs,how to show respect and support for their right to development,and how to change from simple material and economic help to higher level relief care,is the difficulty of college education relief work.At present,it is an important link for colleges and universities to carry out targeted poverty alleviation in education.Therefore,it is necessary to attach importance to the issue of educational assistance,and pay special attention to the educational assistance of poor students in colleges and universities,which is of great significance to the development of college education.This paper takes the impoverished students in undergraduate colleges in Canning as the research object,based on the education fair theory and Sodding care ethics theory,using questionnaires and interviews to conduct empirical investigations,to understand the current situation of poverty-stricken students in Guangxi universities,And further analyzes the problems existing in the relief work of the poor college students in Guangxi university.In the economic assistance of poor students,Guangxi colleges and universities mainly reflect these aspects: the criteria for determining the poverty-stricken students,the principle of determining the poor students,the methods for determining the poor students,and whether the recipients are in compliance with relevant regulations,and whether the mode of assistance presents a diversified feature.Although the work of poor students in Guangxi is basically carried out in an orderly manner in accordance with relevant regulations,there are also some shortcomings,mainly: The participation of social forces in education assistance is insufficient,the spiritual assistance is limited,the procedure of identifying impoverished students is tedious,the supervision mechanism is not perfect and the student identification criteria are not perfect.In order to improve the relief work of poor students in Guangxi,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions for improving the current education assistance policy in view of the above existing situation and existing problems,including: we will encourage social forces to participate in helping students who in need,strengthen mental care for poor students,optimize the Recognition methods of poor college students,improve the supervision mechanism for the implementation of educational poverty alleviation policies,and actively do a good job in personal self-assistance.
