The educational reform of library and information science oriented to big data is a hot topic that scholars have been paying attention to in the current education research of library and information science,and the iSchools leading the professional education of big data has a high guiding value for the educational reform of library and information science oriented to big data in our country.In this paper,iSchools institutions in the United States are selected as the research object,and the cultivation goals,training content,and curriculum settings of 18 iSchools in the United States are investigated and analyzed.Compared with the relevant situation of the curriculum settings of iSchools institutions in China,their advantages and benefits are found out.It provides guidance for the educational reform of library and information science facing big data in Chinese universities.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part of the introduction,mainly introduces the topic background,research significance,domestic and foreign research and research methods,research content and innovation.The second part is to investigate the training programs of big data professionals in 18 iSchools in the United States and analyze their training goals,content,and forms in detail.The third part investigates the training program of big data professionals in iSchools of China and analyzes its training content and curriculum setting.The fourth part compares the training situation of big data professionals in iSchools of China and the United States,and puts forward some suggestions on the reform of big data based on the analysis of the importance of big data oriented book information education.The fifth part of the conclusion is the summary of this paper,the author made a summary of the full text,pointed out the shortcomings of this paper and improvement direction,and to the future of the focus of the study made prospects.
