The present study focuses on intention of youth towards social entrepreneurship.This research dissertation combines personal and social predictors to investigate the intention of youth towards social entrepreneurship.The main research questions of this research dissertation are "(a)what is the role of perceived capability associated with social capital and role identification and its effect towards social entrepreneurship?,(b)does social support moderate the perceived capability-social entrepreneurship relationship?".To test this phenomenon,the study hypothesized that role identification and social capital enhances the perceived capability among the youngsters.The study also hypothesized that perceived capability further leads to intention and willingness of youth towards social entrepreneurship.Moreover,study determined that social support has a moderating effect on the relationship between perceived capability and social entrepreneurship intentions.Such that,the given relationship will be stronger when social support is high.The data for this examination was gathered from youth having a place with Pakistan.An all-out number of 510 surveys were managed among respondents,from which,360 reactions were considered for further investigation.In the analysis,Structural equation modeling(SEM)using AMOS 21 has been used to measure and analyze the structural model.In this paper to deal with dimension reduction of items,exploratory factor analysis(EFA)has been used.Liability test has been applied to test the validity of data.In the meantime,we have used the appropriate instrument that uses the structural model,confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)and regression simultaneously to evaluate the measurement model.Results demonstrate that social capital(SC)having a strong positive influence on perceived capability(PC)of individuals.The purpose is clear that when individuals share thoughts and information,they get access to various kinds of information channels and this information becomes knowledge for youth who want to serve the community.Role identification(RI)has also a positive influence towards perceived capability of individuals.Results show that RI helps individuals to identify their roles in the society.In terms of perceived capability,that was introduced as a mediator between SC and Social entrepreneurship(SE),and RI and SE.The results depict that perceived capability as a mediator strong the relationship between social capital and social entrepreneurship and role identification and social entrepreneurship.The findings suggesting that SC and RI constitute a powerful construct in determining individuals' intention towards SE.Moreover,the social support that has been introduced as a moderator between PC and SE.Findings revealed a positive correlation between perceived capability and social entrepreneurship,showing this relationship to be moderated by social support.
