The appearance of ceramics has a long history.More than 10,000 years ago,pottery making,as the earliest creative work of human ancestors,not only showed us the wisdom of human beings to conquer nature in the course of development,but also marked the beginning of human civilization.The broad and broad Chinese ceramic culture is the spiritual lifeblood of the Chinese nation,the gathering of the simple and honest minds of the working people and the solid foundation for us to stand firm in the turbulent world culture.In order to carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,China's ceramic art education began to change its thinking,from the training of professional ceramic art technical personnel to the popularization of ceramic art education.As the starting point of basic education,primary school has been highly valued by the state.Under the guidance of the state,schools in various regions have successively carried out characteristic pottery courses.However,due to the fact that the pottery education in primary schools is in the stage of continuous exploration and the complex craft of pottery integrating technology and art,there are still various problems in the practical development of characteristic pottery courses in primary schools.On the basis of literature research,this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation and existing problems of pottery teaching in primary schools through questionnaires and interviews.This paper expounds that the teaching method of workshop has a clear theme,cooperation,practicality and openness,which can improve students' ability to learn independently,find and solve problems,and improve their comprehensive quality.This paper discusses that the introduction of workshop teaching method into the teaching of characteristic course of pottery in primary schools can solve some problems existing in the teaching of pottery.It also explores how to carry out the teaching activities of the featured pottery course of primary school under the teaching mode of the workshop,puts forward Suggestions on the construction of teachers and facilities of the pottery workshop,and researches and designs the teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching strategies and teaching evaluation methods of the featured pottery course of primary school based on the teaching mode of the workshop.Finally,through the practice of comparative teaching to verify,and to illustrate the case,in order to illustrate the workshop teaching method on the characteristics of primary pottery teaching play a positive role.
