In order to meet the new requirements of the party and the government for the development of education reform in China,the ministry of education issued the opinions of the ministry of education on comprehensively deepening the curriculum to implement the basic task of cultivating moral talents in March 2014,which formed the general pattern of education in China.In order to carry out the basic task of cultivating talents by virtue,this paper puts forward the new teaching objectives of developing the core qualities of Chinese students and cultivating the necessary characters,key abilities and correct values for students to adapt to the lifelong development and social development.In January 2017,the ministry of education officially promulgated the curriculum standards for general high school geography(2017 edition),which clearly pointed out the development of students' discipline core literacy.The core accomplishment of a discipline is the integration,transcendence and development of three-dimensional goals,and is the concentrated embodiment of the value of discipline education.How to effectively cultivate students' core quality and promote the core quality of geography to take root is the direction that the majority of geography educators need to explore.Depth of teaching as a kind of education concept,adhere to the "education for this" the education thought,on the basis of education under the position of knowledge view,according to the internal structure of knowledge,guide students to deep learning,emphasizes the breakthrough utilitarian tendency of classroom teaching,enrich the classroom teaching of education self-restraint,play to the developmental quality of classroom teaching and the education object by knowledge into the students' ability of thinking,and the development of emotional attitude and values,change traditional knowledge view,students view and teaching view,lead to the all-round development of students,cultivate students to meet the needs of lifelong development and social development of science literacy and key ability.Through in-depth analysis of deep teaching,it is found that the concept of deep teaching is highly consistent with the connotation of core geographic literacy.In order to truly carry out the fundamental task of cultivating talents and cultivating students' core quality of geography,geography classroom teaching must move towards deep teaching and guide students to carry out deep learning.The first part of this paper mainly elaborates the research background,purpose and significance of this topic and the research status of in-depth teaching at home and abroad.In the second part,the related concepts and theoretical basis of geography core literacy and deep teaching are sorted out through literature,and the internal relationship between geography core literacy and deep teaching is elaborated.In the third part,through the investigation of the current situation of deep geography teaching in some high schools in wuwei city,gansu province,the author finds out the existing problems and analyzes the causes.The fourth part is based on the cause analysis of the problem,put forward the implementation of in-depth teaching strategy.The fifth part presents the case of deep teaching design and makes an in-depth analysis of the case,so as to provide a case reference for the majority of front-line teachers to implement deep teaching.
