In 2012,the Ministry of Education issued the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education.The evaluation suggestions of Chinese integrated learning reflect the importance of the diagnostic and developmental functions of evaluation.For teachers,Paper-and-pencil tasks is still the most commonly used evaluation method,but this method is mostly used for selection.So,what kind of evaluation method can evaluate students' performance so that to diagnose or develop their abilities?Studies have shown that performance assessment matches with Chinese integrated learning.However,unfortunately,this study failed to design and develop a general procedure for performance evaluation in lower grade according to the situation of students in primary schools.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to make up for this regret.This research chooses the second-grade N-class students of S Primary School as an example,and uses the methods of questionnaire,interview and action research to solve three problems:What is the current situation of Chinese integrated learning in lower grades of S Primary School?How to design the performance assessment when applied to Chinese integrated learning in lower grade?What is the effect of this design in lower grade? In view of these problems,this paper studies from the following aspects:The first part is theoretical research.First of all,it briefly introduces the theory with document analysis.Combined with the connotation of Chinese integrated learning and performance assessment,it is determined that performance assessment matches with Chinese integrated learning in lower grade.The second part focuses on the investigation of Chinese integrated learning of Class N students in S Primary School.The following conclusions were drawn through a questionnaire survey of Class N students and interviews with teachers in lower grade of S Primary School: First,the differences in the Class N students should be paid attention to in the teaching;second,the teaching needs to provide the Class N the evaluation of Chinese language knowledge;fourth,the Chinese integrated learning lacks guidance for teachers' teaching.Fifth,the indicators of performance assessment need to be described in precise language.The third part is the application design of performance assessment in the Chinese integrated learning in lower grade.This section is mainly divided into two phases.In the first stage,based on the psychological characteristics and learning characteristics of the primary school students in lower grade,the performance assessment is suitable for the Chinese integrated learning of the primary school in lower grade.The first step is to determine the learning objectives based on the Chinese Curriculum Standards.The second step is designing performance tasks around learning objectives.The third step is determining checklists based on goals and performance tasks.In the second stage,the instructional design is determined based on the backward design theory combined with the content of the first stage.The fourth part is the implementation effect and suggestions of the case.Take the beginning song of winter frost as an example,the application of performance assessment in the Chinese integrated learning in lower grades found that the checklist matches the Chinese integrated learning of the lower grades of primary school;the checklist leads the teachers to grasp the teaching content;and the checklist is used to promote the participation of lower grade students in the Chinese integrated learning;the use of checklists helps teachers evaluate.After the implementation of the interview with the students,three specific suggestions are proposed for the future application: First,the design of the checklist should pay attention to the fairness of the students;second,the appearance of the checklist should meet the aesthetics of the children;third,the number of forms should match the student's academic situation.Generally,performance assessment is a kind of evaluation method that matches the Chinese integrated learning in the lower grade of primary school.It promotes the teaching,learning and evaluation of the Chinese integrated learning in lower grade of primary school in application.
