Basketball has a history of more than one hundred years since its origin and development in 1891.The development of modern basketball requires athletes to have faster speed,higher height,stronger physical confrontation and more flexible direction change.In fact,it puts forward higher requirements for basketball players' physical quality,especially their sensitive quality.In basketball matches,the way for athletes to win is through the rapid movement of their feet.Therefore,the strength of their sensitive qualities not only brings beneficial help to the implementation of tactics in matches,but also has a positive impact on the optimization of individual basketball skills.In the aspect of research object,this paper studies the influence of functional training on the sensitive quality of male basketball players.Comparisons were made by experimental methods.The experiment lasted 8 weeks and 22 times.By involving the experimental group in functional training,the control group in traditional strength training,and after the completion of the experiment,the two groups of athletes were tested by T-test and V-test,and then the data obtained from the test were analyzed and compared.In view of functional training,this study systematically combs the origin,concept,principle,training principle,content,method and training plan design and organization of functional training by using the methods of documentation,expert interview,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics,and draws lessons from the framework model established by other theoretical systems.Based on the research results of practical application,the problems are found and summarized,and then the theoretical system of functional training is comprehensively constructed.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Two kinds of strength training methods,functional training methods and traditional strength training methods have improved the sensitivity of athletes.The former has a better effect.The two training methods have significant differences in the improvement of the sensitivity of sports basketball students.2.After eight weeks of training,the experimental group and the control group had significant results in the "T-Test" on horizontal and vertical movement tests.The functional training of the experimental group was significantly better than traditional strength training.3.After eight weeks of training,the results of the experimental and control groups in the "V-test" on the lateral movement test were significantly different.There were significant differences between the two groups,and the performance of functional training in the experimental group was significantly better than traditional strength training.
