"Functional strength training" was first put forward by Gray,a famous sports training expert.Its idea is to attach importance to the movement of human sports chain and strengthen the strength training of the power link in the sports chain.This strength training method is based on the traditional strength training,but more attention is paid to the characteristics of sports,especially the movement of human motion chain in the flight link,the coordination and balance of multi-joint muscle groups,and the development of human core muscle group strength.In our country,the research of functional strength training is on the rise,and the research in basketball teaching and training is also increasing gradually.By consulting a large number of documents and visiting relevant experts,this paper first makes a comprehensive analysis of the concept and theoretical basis of functional strength training,and then chooses jump shot technology in basketball teaching as a breakthrough point,formulates and screens functional strength training actions suitable for use in the teaching environment according to the literature and experts’ suggestions,to explore the relationship between them..The research object of this paper is the influence of functional strength training on jump shot percentage of students majoring in physical education.The experimental process is roughly as follows.A teaching class is selected to carry out the experiment.The students are divided into experimental group and control group.During the 12-week teaching process,the experimental group is given functional strength training,while the control group is given traditional strength training.Before and after the experiment,the shooting percentage of the students in the experimental group and the control group is tested,and then the results are obtained from both vertical and horizontal aspects.The data obtained are analyzed and compared,and the experimental results are roughly as follows1.Through scientific design,the strength training added to the teaching has a significant impact on the hit rate of five-point jump shot,stop jump shot and cross jump shot selected in the experiment.The control group and the experimental group have significantly improved.2.For the two relatively simple and stable movements of five-point jump shot andsudden stop jump shot,the control group and the experimental group have significantly improved,but there is no significant difference between them.The effect of traditional quantity training and functional strength training is basically the same.3.For the cross drift jump shot,which is relatively difficult and unstable,both the control group and the experimental group have significantly improved,but the hit rate of the experimental group is significantly different from that of the control group,and the improvement of the experimental group after functional strength training is more obvious.The above phenomena can prove that the functional strength training is more targeted and comprehensive than the traditional strength training.The introduction of some functional strength training actions in the daily selective basketball teaching can improve the students’ jump-shot median rate and further improve the teaching effect and quality.
