Research On Influence Of P.E.examination Reform On Xiamen's Junior Middle School Physical Education

In 2008,Xiamen City resumed its physical education examination.Since the resumption of the physical education test,the content of the middle school additional sport examinations has replaced the entire content of the physical education courses and physical education teaching activity,and violated the guiding ideology of "health first" in middle school.In 2016,Xiamen City has took a series of drastic physical education examination reforms that students can select basketball,volleyball,football and swimming and the like for optional item.The goal of this reforms was to change the system of exam item that focusing on physical ability and physical fitness,and contributing to overall development of students'physical ability and physical fitness.This paper used literature surveys,questionnaire surveys,expert interviews,and statistical methods to conduct a sampling on the physical education teachers and students of six junior high schools in the six different districts in Xiamen in order to discuss the impact of teaching goals,teaching methods,teaching content,teaching evaluation,and teaching conditions of the middle school,to analyze the reasons and problems that arising from physical education examination reforms,and to promote strategy for improving the teaching faculty,sports assessment,sports facilities construction,physical exercise habits,and physical education methods.It aims to provide a theoretical reference for the reform and development of physical education examination in Xiamen City.Study found:In terms of'teaching objectives,28.5%of'PE teachers after the reform of sports examinations took the training of students'motor skills as the teaching goal of physical education,and accounted for the largest proportion of similar goals.It can be seen that when students master more than two sports skills can they develop sports more effectively,and lay the foundation for lifelong sports.In terms of teaching content,the teaching content is based on the project arrangement of the physical education exam.The statistics of'the teacher questionnaire account for 91.4%,and the proportion of the student questionnaire is 84.9%.It can be seen that the entire thinking and teaching philosophy of'PE teachers are still at the exam-oriented education stage.In terms of teaching methods,physical education teachers also devote their time to teaching methods,but no matter what teaching method can only achieve the best results when combined with the teacher's own characteristics and teaching conditions.In terms of teaching conditions,34.2%of teachers believe that the school's gymnasium can not meet the school's physical education needs,and even 14.2%of teachers believe that sports venues and equipment are seriously inadequate.This is very unfavorable for the smooth development of physical education and the preparation for examinations in physical education.In terms of teaching evaluation,34.6%of students believe that it is reasonable to include the usual results in the total score of physical education.At the same time,45%of the students think that it is reasonable to include the physical education attendance rate in the physical examination score.This shows that increasing the procedural evaluation in the junior high school sports exam is welcomed by students.Following conclusions:The reform of the physical education exam in Xiamen City has attracted the attention of the leaders of society,parents,and schools to the physical education exam.It improved the enthusiasm of physical education teachers,stimulate the enthusiasm of students to exercise,and increase the time of junior high school students'physical activity,thereby enhancing student health and enhancing student physique.After the reform of the physical education examination in Xiamen City,due to the physical education is always conducted around the physical education examination project,students' interest and physical development characteristics are not taken into consideration.Therefore,the physical examination preparation test cannot escape the exam-taking education mode.The contents of sports classroom activities are too monotonous and the examination atmosphere is too strong.The physical education reform in Xiamen prompted the PE teachers to pay more attention to students' mastery of sports skills and technique skills.Most of the schools'investment in sports funding has increased,so each school can also increase the construction of stadiums and venue facilities according to actual needs.However,some schools' venues and facilities cannot meet the increasing number of students and their increasing score of physical education exam.
