As the development and improvement of disciplinary and degree construction in our country,differences between academic and professional master becomes obvious.Scholarism is the goal of academic graduate student education,and also is the pursue of students.Graduate students are meant to meet the demands of high standards and strict requirements.Academic literacy of graduate student is a common goal among our country,colleges and universities and teachers.Education is an applied soft science,having its own knowledge and disciplinary structure.Accordingly,academic graduate students in education have their own academic literacy.Former research often carried out a study from top to bottom,investigating the connotation and cultivation of academic literacy of graduate student,coming up with suggestions in curriculum,academic activities,thesis writing and tutors' responsibilities.While,the shortcomings of former research are lacking of definition,seldom in real feelings and thoughts from students,and weak influence of those suggestions.This research is employed from bottom to top.Using Grounded Theory and Case Study,this research composes of three parts: components,influence factors,and formation mechanism of academic literacy of academic graduate student in education.This research is to enrich the studies both on education graduate students and academic literacy,providing support from the angle of theory and methods for later research,real experience for education graduate students,pointcuts of teaching for practitioners in education,and references of innovation for teaching administrators.There are 15 objects of study taken by purposive sampling in this research.At the early stages,abundant audio and literal data were collected by interview and questionnaire.After taking all of the data into words,coding data were carried out with the help of NVivo 12 Plus and Excel.Finally,components and influence factors of academic literacy of academic graduate student in education were obtained by coding,analyzing and verifying of data.In the end of this research,3 cases are shown to depict the formation mechanism of academic literacy of academic graduate student in education.Components of academic literacy of academic graduate student in education includes academic morality,educational knowledge,enthusiasm in education research and research abilities in education.Academic morality manifests in the process of academic activities as showing respect to others' innovation achievements and objects of study.Educational knowledge composes of basic theoretical knowledge of education,specific knowledge in subject knowledge,psychological knowledge and knowledge of research methods and techniques.Enthusiasm in education research mainly consists of the enthusiasm for education and educational study,and the thirst for knowledge of education questions and problems.Research abilities in education covers logical thinking and language performance,and all kinds of abilities in conducting a research.Influence factors in academic literacy of academic graduate student in education refers to motivation,practice and supportive ecological environment.Formation mechanism of academic literacy of academic graduate student in education is based on the premise of sticking to academic morality.In the open and flowing supportive environment,motivation gives student enthusiasm for research,making him/her acquire knowledge and cultivating his/her academic literacy.And the sense of achievement and confidence stimulate student's motivation.Therefore,according to the scope of “internal-external”,four types of scholars are classified as lazy scholar,idle scholar,diligent scholar and studious scholar.In the end,four suggestions are mentioned for students and teachers.On one hand,students should obey academic morality,strengthen theoretic study and motivation,bear loneliness,and plan their careers by reason.On the other hand,teachers should teach by words and deeds,and fulfill their tutorial duties.
