| In recent years,there has been a "picture book boom" in primary schools.The introduction of picture books into basic education classes has attracted the attention and support of experts and scholars at home and abroad.As a new curriculum resource,mathematics picture books have become the best choice for many front-line mathematics teachers to activate mathematics classroom.The story plots in math picture books are all related to math knowledge,which can activate students’ thinking,enrich students’ imagination and improve students’ aesthetic ability.Picture book stories and mathematics teaching content are skillfully integrated,and they complement each other to build a brand-new kingdom of mathematics.Therefore,how to effectively and appropriately integrate mathematical picture books into primary school mathematics teaching is a topic that teachers should pay attention to.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and field observation.Then,on the basis of combing the previous literature and combining the cognitive characteristics of pupils in the lower years,the theoretical basis of this study is determined.On this basis,taking three elementary schools in Changtu County as samples,this paper investigates the current situation of the teaching of mathematical picture books in the lower primary schools.After investigation and analysis,there are still some problems in the teaching of mathematics picture books in the lower primary school.Teachers lack of understanding,inappropriate use and neglect the evaluation process of picture book teaching.Secondly,the existing problems are analyzed from the following aspects: the biased teaching concept of picture book,the ability of picture book teaching to be improved,and the weak evaluation consciousness of picture book teaching.Finally,it puts forward the improvement strategies of the teaching of primary school mathematics picture books in the lower years,emancipating the mind,giving full play to the teaching characteristics of primary school mathematics picture books;tailoring clothes to suit the teaching practice of primary school mathematics picture books;promoting teaching by evaluation,stimulating the teaching vitality of primary school mathematics picture books.The combination of mathematics picture books and mathematics teaching in primary schools can improve the teaching effect and help to change the traditional teaching methods.It is hoped that this study can provide some references and suggestions for the front-line primary school mathematics teachers,and can promote the primary school mathematics teachers to effectively integrate mathematical picture books into mathematics teaching in an appropriate form. |
