With the advancement of urban integration,more and more rural children enter the city with their parents and become "migrant children".The geographical migration has cut off the connection between the regional and the blood relatives to a certain extend,and broken the original communication network between people.Differences in cultural values and the changes in geographical location will cause discomfort and realistic frustration in these children,which will lead to their inferiority,loneliness and self-denial,etc.Resulting in reduced self-efficacy of migrant children and have a great impact on their socialization.The focus of this paper is to analyze the current status and problems of migrant children’s self-efficacy and how to use effective group work methods to improve their self-efficacy of migrant children.Build a youth growth group to explore the application effect of group work in improving the self-efficacy of migrant children;enhance the psychological construction of migrant children through practical application,so as to enhance self-efficacy and strengthen the sense of belonging,and enable migrant children successfully completed the early socialization.Using the methods of observation,interview and scale survey,the author selected9 migrant children in X County of Yantai City as the research object.The problem of migrant children were found through the pre-test: there are three main problems: weak communication ability,poor emotional management ability and self-denial.Under the guidance of attribution of success and failure theory,social learning theory and social support theory,the “Sparking Me” self-efficacy promotion group was launched.Through eight sections of group work,the team members become more confident and brave in the process of self-awareness,self-exploration,self-identification and self-realization.Post-testing also validated the effectiveness of the activity.Through relevant practical methods,it is found that the development of group work can improve the self-efficacy of migrant children,constantly change their cognition and behavior,so as to achieve the effect of constantly adapting to the environment.At the same time,in the collation and analysis,the author finds thatimproving the self-efficacy of migrant children can be intervened from three aspects:individual,family and society.The specific promotion factors include self-cognition,setting goals,role models and incentive mechanisms.Altruism,social practice and so on.Finally,the author reflects on and discusses the development of the whole activity,hoping to help more migrant children adapt to the new through the self-efficacy group.The environment.
