The new round of curriculum reform not only emphasizes the fairness of education,but also puts the improvement of education quality at the core.The quality of education depends on the quality of teachers,and the improvement of teachers' quality depends on the professional development of teachers.Therefore,many countries attach great importance to the professional development of teachers.According to China statistical yearbook 2018,there are 3,548,700 full-time junior middle school teachers in China,Among them,there are 1.2213 million teachers in urban areas,1.7526 million in towns and 574.7 million in rural areas It can be said that the township junior middle school teachers are the main force of the whole junior middle school teachers.The quality of township junior middle school teachers determines the quality of township junior middle school education.However,there are some problems such as weak awareness of professional development,outdated professional knowledge,low level of professional ability and lack of school support for professional development among junior middle school teachers in towns and villages.It is necessary to promote the professional development of junior middle school teachers in towns and villages,so as to promote the high-quality development of education in towns and villages.It is of great practical value to study the school support for the professional development of junior middle school teachers in towns and villages,put forward the implementation strategy of school support,and promote the professional development of junior middle school teachers in towns and villages.This paper firstly sorts out relevant researches at home and abroad and defines the concept of teacher professional development and school support.Teacher professional development is divided into three aspects: professional concept and teacher's ethics,professional knowledge and professional ability.School support is divided into five dimensions: system support,condition support,activity support,management support and cultural support.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview were used to investigate the status quo of the professional development of junior middle school teachers and school support.Then,five dimensions of school support and teacher professional development are analyzed to explore the relationship between school support and teacher professional development.Finally,combining with relevant theories and research conclusions,this paper proposes school support strategies to promote the professionaldevelopment of junior middle school teachers in towns and villages.The study finds that the professional development level of junior middle school teachers in towns and villages is good,but there is still room for development.Some teachers are superficial in their understanding of teachers' profession and need to strengthen their understanding of students' subjectivity.The problems are obvious,such as the imbalanced internal structure of the professional knowledge of the junior middle school teachers in towns and villages and the insufficient ability of education and scientific research.In terms of school support,township junior middle schools still have some defects in their support for teachers' professional development.Such as lack of planning and guidance for teachers' career development,insufficient financial support,insufficient time support,formalized activity support,unimproved management mode and lack of professional guidance for principals.Through the correlation analysis of teacher professional development and school support,teacher professional development is significantly correlated with school support.Conditional support,institutional support,activity support,cultural support and management support are significantly positively correlated with teacher professional development.Therefore,the author believes that to promote the professional development of junior middle school teachers in towns and villages,we should not only activate the subjectivity of teachers,but also create a good external environment,and do a good job in the following aspects: Enrich the condition support,do a good job in teacher professional development basic guarantee;Perfect system support,strengthen teacher's career planning guidance;Support deep excavation activities to improve the efficiency of teacher professional development activities;Strengthen cultural support and create a good environment for teachers' professional development;Establish a modern school management system to promote the professional development of teachers;Principals should give full play to the leading role of teachers' professional development.
