The workshop is one of the most important methods of teacher training in K12.However,a series of problems have been found in this form of training,including insufficient motivation,decontextualized curriculum,passive learning and unexpected results.According to Teacher education curriculum standards in 2011,teachers are supposed to be reflective practitioners since they can promote their specialization by introspecting educational experiences and improving on teaching behaviors.Besides,this process puts emphasis on teachers' subjectivity,focusing on teaching situation and interacting reflection with practice.As a consequence,reflective practice is able to make a theoretical effort to teacher workshop in response to teachers'demands and even settling problems in teacher workshop.In order to promote structuring reflection and practice,this paper contains following parts to study the effective reflective practice model for teacher workshop.Firstly,taking teachers' demands into consideration would be the first step for training programs to solve those issues.This paper have found that teachers' demands have a close connection with their classroom teaching.To be more specific,teachers need dig into problems in their teaching practice when select training themes;they prefer diversified training methods and process evaluation system,so that they are likely to achieve professional development;and tracking services are wanted to ensure normalization of self-directed training.Secondly,designing a new model of reflective practice for teacher workshop.On the one hand,basic elements of reflective practice has analyzed by interpreting classical theories of reflective practice;On the other hand,fundamental steps of teacher workshop has been teased out through analyzing representative modes.And this paper integrated those key steps and elements which are inherently consistent,meanwhile some essential courses have been added since they are excellent contributions as researches went on.Based on theory analysis,a new model of teacher workshop has been framed from the perspective of reflective practice.Moreover,this paper have explained the visualization of modelling and the interaction of its participants.On top of that,this paper has employed the original model in the National Training Plan(2018)-Workshop Research Training in Midwest,taking one teacher workshop for an instance.Research data in workshop training shows that the overall behavioral engagement of participants are getting better,which means this model is preferable and turns out well.In the end,adapted suggestions involving training theme,interaction platform,communication culture,and important others have been put forward to make sure efficiency of this model.
