In today's time,service learning has been widely recognized as an educational method,and has gradually been introduced into the education of schools by major universities.The effect of teaching is very obvious.In China,the theoretical research on service learning has been deepened,and many universities have also started the practice of service learning.However,the application of service learning in high school is relatively small.The application of service learning in the process of high school ideological and political education is undoubtedly an innovation in teaching methods and education models.It can open up students'horizons,improve students'practical ability,cultivate students'innovative spirit,and promote their all-round development when we introduce this model in high school ideological and political education.The paper discusses the problems and countermeasures in service learning and its application in high school ideological and political education in China through four chapters.The first chapter introduces the concept of service learning and its theoretical basis,as well as the characteristics of service learning.The second chapter introduces the relationship between service learning and high school ideological and political education,analyzes the necessity and implementation significance of service learning in high school,and then draws service learning as a model of high school ideological and political education practice,which is beneficial to students in understanding and applying knowledge in practice.The third chapter tells in our country,high schools' ideological and political education about service learning doesn't have a good application like the western countries.But,due to the influence of the pressure of higher education,the low utilization rate of resources and the lack of enthusiasm of students,there are still some shortcomings and forms of service learning.There are many practical problems such as the singleness,the meaning of service learning activities,and the ineffectiveness of students'subjectivity.Therefore,the fourth chapteremphasizes the trouble about service learning which is in our high school'ideological and political education.It raises to form a joint force of the state,society and schools,and fully adopt various effective measures to integrate the resources of high school ideological and political education and establish various kinds of resources.The guarantee mechanism promotes the smooth progress of high school ideological and political education service learning.
