In January 2018,the State Council issued "Opinions on Fully Deepening the Reform of Teachers' Team Construction in the New Era",focusing on the quality of teachers' training in primary and secondary schools(normal students),and proposed to comprehensively promote the reform and innovation of teaching and training modes for teachers' majors from the evaluation link.The improvement of the training quality of normal students needs the support of a systematic teaching ability system.In this study,through consulting the relevant literature on teaching ability,it is found that the current research on teaching ability mainly focuses on in-service teachers,with less consideration of the normal students group,and has not yet formed a systematic teaching ability system of normal students.In addition,the development of smart education in recent years has also put forward higher requirements for the teaching ability of normal students.Normal students in the new era should not only have the ability to integrate information technology into teaching,but also have the ability to use various teaching methods and multi-dimensional and diversified teaching evaluation practice to provide personalized teaching and learning support for students.Therefore,it is of great significance to construct a teaching ability system for normal students in the light of the current background of smart education.In this study,the teaching ability of normal students under the background of smart education is defined as the ability of normal students to integrate information technology and smart education concept into professional knowledge learning and all aspects of practical skills training,so as to effectively carry out teaching design,implementation and evaluation activities.Firstly,in this study,by consulting the relevant literature on teaching ability,comparing and analyzing several typical professional standards of teachers' teaching ability at home and abroad,such as IBSTPI Teacher General Ability Standard and the Teacher Professional Standard of the Ministry of Education of China,and combining with the concept of smart education,the framework of teachers' teaching ability was established,which includes six dimensions: knowledge and skills,teaching design,resource development,teaching implementation,teaching evaluation and reflective development.Under each dimension,there are also many ability indicators,totaling 20 ability indicators,thus the preliminary draft of the teaching ability system of normal students was determined.Then,after collecting experts' revision opinions and importance value analysis of various indicators by using expert survey method,the original indicator system had been slightly adjusted and a secondary indicator had been added,and the final draft of the teaching ability system of normal students was determined.Finally,the weight of each indicators in the teaching ability system of normal students was determined by analytic hierarchy process,so that the teaching ability model of normal students was constructed.Based on the various teaching abilities that the normal students should possess in the model,the data labels related to the learning and practice of normal students were selected,such as the learning situation of professional courses,writing situation of three-stroke,performance situation of internship teaching,award-winning situation of micro-class competitions,etc,thus the data labels on each dimension of teaching abilities of normal students were sorted out.Then,the normal students of grade 2015 in a Teacher Education Institute of a university were taken as the research sample bank.By collecting data labels reflecting the teaching abilities of normal students,the individualized archives of teaching abilities of normal students were constructed.And the corresponding data labels in each dimension of teaching ability were processed,analyzed and calculated,so that the individualized radar maps of teaching ability of normal students were constructed,which realized the evaluation of teaching ability of normal students.Finally,through the analysis of the evaluation results,the shortcomings of the normal students' teaching ability in this college were understood,and some pertinent suggestions were put forward for the follow-up development of the normal students' teaching ability.
