China's population problem has always been the focus of attention from all sectors of society. In recent years,China's total fertility rate is insufficient, population aging, gender imbalance, labor shortage and other problems are increasingly serious. In order to alleviate these problems, the government has gradually relaxed the birth control, and successively implemented the "The selective two-child policy" and "The universal two-child policy".As the main bearers of fertility behaviors, women are the first to be affected by the adjustment of fertility policy.Women are not only the main body of fertility, but also an important part of the labor market. Therefore, under such a policy background, the influence of women's labor market participation is particularly noteworthy.Based on literature analysis, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, this paper investigates the relationship between women's education level and their labor participation in the process of the adjustment of fertility policy by using Chinese family tracking survey(CFPS)data.First of all, this paper combined with relevant theories to analyze the influence mechanism of female education level on female labor participation,as well as the effect mechanism of the adjustment of fertility policy on female labor participation, and further discussed the relationship between female education level and female labor participation under the adjustment of fertility policy based on the analysis of these two mechanisms.Secondly, relevant models of labor participation are constructed on the basis of theoretical analysis, and theoretical analysis results and hypotheses are tested using CFPS data of 2012,2014 and 2016.Finally,the paper compares the relationship between the research conclusions of this paper and existing literature to clarify the contribution of this paper, and puts forward targeted policy Suggestions. The empirical results show that :(1)On the whole, the more educated women are,the more active they are in labor participation.Whether during the period of family planning policy,"The selective two-child policy" or "The universal two-child policy",the more educated women are,the more likely they are to participate in labor and the longer they work. The improvement of education level has a positive impact on female labor participation.(2)In the process of the adjustment of the family planning policy, during the period of the family planning policy, the education level had a significant positive impact on women's labor participation. After the adjustment of the family planning policy, this positive impact showed a weakening trend.(3)The impact of the adjustment of birth policy on urban women is greater than that on rural women; In addition, the influence of education level on the labor participation of urban women is greater than that of rural women.Main contributions of this paper :(1)From the perspective of education level, this paper studies the female labor participation in the context of the adjustment of fertility policy, providing a new perspective for the study of women under the adjustment of fertility policy.(2)In combination with relevant theories, this paper analyzes the mechanism of education level and female labor participation under the fertility policy adjustment, which is of great significance to explain the female labor participation behavior under the background of current fertility policy adjustment.(3)The research results of this paper have certain policy enlightenment, all sectors of society should provide women with more social welfare security and employment protection, reduce the cost of childbirth, improve the child-rearing system, and provide women with more education and medical resources,so as to ensure the effectiveness of the policy of birth control, and reduce the pressure on women to choose between family and work.
