Teachers are the main leaders in the educational reformation.Their quality will directly influences the effectiveness of the reformation,so teacher's professional improvement has become the demand of times development.As a form of school-based research,Micro Subject meets the demand of teachers' teaching and research ability,which can lead to the active involvement in the research,and during the research,teachers can combine the practice with the theories to solve the teaching problems and obtain their professional development.This thesis introduces the research background and meaning.It also concludes two core concepts about what is the teacher's professional development and what is Micro Subject,based on the concepts to present the real meaning in this thesis.Besides,the theoretical foundation of the research is raised in this chapter.Based on the core concepts,this chapter analyzes the previous studies from home and abroad about Micro Subject to probe into the previous fruit on this field and find starting point and objective of the thesis.The research of this thesis has mainly used the case study,regarding a teachers' Micro Subject team from Yangjiang city in Guangdong Province as the research object of this case.It records the daily teaching activities practicing the research idea and varieties of other activities like theoretical study,Lesson with different structure and Lesson with homogeneous,achievement promotion seminar and so on,which aims to show the actual status of the teacher's Micro Subject and the value to this kind of research.Besides,this paper also shows the current situation and the achievement of the Micro Subject team by content analysis on the relevant textual material,probing into the idea of Micro Subject from teachers and the awareness of teacher's professional development in the interviews.Linking the theories research to the practical research,this thesis eventually explores the individual and environmental reasons on how to develop teachers' profession effectively in the process of Micro Subject.The individual reasons consist of teachers' self-learning consciousness,teachers' self-renewal consciousness,teachers' reflection and criticism and teachers' team-up ability,while the environmental reasons are made up of the characteristics of Micro subject,learning community of Micro subject,the effectivemanagement of Micro subject and the guide from professors,which aims to show what influences the effectiveness of Micro subject.It also puts forward to four strategies in the process of Micro subject to guarantee the success of the Micro subject research,based on the former chapter's reasons,which is intended to give the reasonable advice to the related persons who take part in the Micro subject research and form the systematic theory of Micro Subject,providing the practical case for teachers who fell like carrying out a research.
