With the expansion of the enrollment scale of higher education,the demand for professional teachers in colleges and universities is increasing day by day.More and more young masters and doctoral students are joining the ranks of teachers in colleges and universities.Young teachers who just start to work often face many problems such as lack of scientific research experience and low scientific research ability.With the rapid development of science and technology and the fierce competition among colleges and universities,the scientific research ability of young teachers urgently needs to be improved.Local universities and colleges are the concentration of scientific research activities and scientific and technological innovation in various regions and shoulder the heavy responsibility of serving the scientific and technological and economic progress in the region.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the current situation and improvement measures of young teachers' scientific research ability in local universities and colleges.Through combing through the literature,it is found that the research on the young teachers in local universities and colleges focuses on the teaching ability,and the research on the scientific research ability is less.In the limited research,qualitative research is the main method,and quantitative analysis is rarely used.More empirical research is conducted to explore the improvement path of young teachers' scientific research ability,and few targeted countermeasures and Suggestions are given based on the results of empirical analysis.This study is based on the collation and analysis of related materials.This paper makes a comprehensive review on the composition,current situation and improvement path of young teachers' scientific research ability at home and abroad.Due to the relatively developed higher education in Europe and the United States and other countries,and the relatively better structure and management system of the teaching staff,the research on the young teachers' scientific research ability is mostly focused on the research on the improvement path,which will be summarized and sorted out in this paper.In the definition of related concepts,besides the two basic concepts of local universities and young teachers,this paper focuses on the definition and analysis of the components of scientific research ability.This paper summarizes three dimensions of research cognition ability,research practice ability and research innovation ability,and several secondary indexes to lay a foundation for later quantitative research.The research on the influencing factors starts from the social level,the college level and the individual level,and the questionnaire is compiled on this basis.Taking jiangxi A A universitys the research object,this study investigated the status quo and influencing factors of young teachers' scientific research ability in secondary colleges of A university through questionnaire survey.SPSS19.0software was used to sort out and analyze the questionnaire data,and the conclusion was drawn that the overall situation of young teachers' scientific research ability in A university was general,among which the dispersion degree of scientific research innovation ability was large.Based on the difference analysis of background variables,it can be seen that there are Significant differences in the scientific research ability of young teachers with different gender,age,professional title,educational background and discipline background.In the analysis of the influencing factors of the scientific research ability,it is concluded that the biggest factors affecting the scientific research ability of young teachers are:teachers' weekly class hours,school training and exchange system,"mentoring" system among teachers,teachers' scientific research motivation,etc.,and causes of various factors and results are analyzed.Finally,according to the analysis results,some Suggestions are given for the current situation that young teachers in local universities are generally not good at scientific research ability.
