"Doing what is boldly righteous, maintaining the justice",as a social advocated pro-social behavior,is conducive to social stability and harmony.Justice is the requirement of socialism core values and closely related to the construction of a harmonious society. The study about the relationship between belief in a just word(BJW)and prosocial behavior has important practical significance.BJW refers to that people needs to believe that they live in a world in which “everyone receives what they deserve and deserves what they receive”(Lerner,1965).As a personal resource,it can adjust the inner conflict, prompting individuals committed to the implementation of long-term goals. It is positively correlated to altruistic behavior,it also has the negative side, such as relating to the derogatory victims. The double sides function of BJW will affect individual's moral judgment to others' trapped situation, and then affect their helpful intention. When people refuse the patient, they often use moral anonymity to make reasonable explanation for his wrongdoing to avoid moral disengagement. The more the moral disengagement is,the more the unethical behavior appears.Countless phenomena about refusing to help others actually contain the interaction among moral disengagement, belief in a just world and intention to help people in need.Based on the research about the relationship among them, discussing the psychological reasons of the individual who is not helping and mechanism of action,we can improve the level of individual morality and build social justice targeted education countermeasures. This paper put forward the question around the innate nature of BJW---due to : How do the two dimensions of "self" deserve and "others" deserve in belief in a just world affect the moral disengagement and the willingness to help others? How does belief in a just world regulate the relationship between moral disengagement and the willingness to help others? To investigate the present situation and the relations among college students' moral disengagement,BJW and intention to help people in need, this research adopts the citizen moral disengagement questionnaire translated by Wang Xingchao(2013)and revised by Caprara(2009),BJW questionnaire wrote by Dalbert and 'helpful intention situation questionnaire wrote by Ji Wanghua(Ji Wanghua,Zhang Lange,Kou Yu,2014)on 762 undergraduate students from five universities in Chongqing and Nanchang. The results showed:(1)The college students' moral disengagement is in low level.Except for the "inhumane" factor that has no significant gender difference, total table score and other factors all showed significant gender differences. The boys are significantly higher than girls;Junior students score higher than freshman in euphemism "label" and "responsibility attribution" factor;Students majoring in science and engineering score higher than that of liberal arts and other majors in "euphemism" factor."beneficial","transfer","responsibility dispersion","twisted results" factor points and moral excuse total table points differ greatly between the science and engineering major and the liberal arts major. The science and engineering are significantly higher than liberal arts.(2)College students are in the medium level about BJW,which personal belief in a just world is in a higher level, and general belief in a just world is in a lower level.Boys' general belief in a just world is significantly higher than girls;Students majoring in arts are significantly higher than students majoring in science and engineering and other majors in personal belief in a just world.Students in science and engineering is significantly higher than students in arts in general justifying world belief,"other" majors is significantly higher than the arts; The total score of BJW among college students and its two dimensions differ little on the grades.(3)The college students' helpful intention is at a higher level.Helpful intention differs greatly in majors.Students majoring in arts are significantly higher than students in science and other majors. It has no difference in gender and grade.(4)Moral disengagement is in negative correlation with helpful intention. The higher the moral disengagement is,the lower helpful intention.(5)The personal belief in a just world has a significant negative correlation with moral disengagement;General belief in a just world has a significant positive correlation with moral disengagement.(6)Personal belief in a just world and willingness to help others are in significantly positive correlation;General belief in a just world and helpful intention are in significantly negative correlation.(7)Moral disengagement and belief in a just world have a predictive effect on helpful intentions.(8)Belief in a just world can adjust the relationship between the moral disengagement and willingness to help others: personal belief in a just world canweaken the relationship between the moral disengagement and helpful intention.General belief in a just world can strengthen the relation between moral disengagement and helpful intention.
