The theory of "zone of proximal development" is the core concept in Vygotsky's theory of the relationship between teaching and development.The other is the potential development level,that is,the potential development level that students can achieve through education and teaching.The difference between these two levels is the "zone of proximal development".The theory of "zone of proximal development" is not only a major theoretical issue being discussed in pedagogy,educational psychology,pedagogy and other disciplines,but also has important practical significance in guiding the reform of education and teaching and promoting the in-depth development of education and teaching.Under the background of the new curriculum reform,it is more and more obvious to use the theory of "zone of proximal development" to guide the teaching practice and promote the all-round development of students.This paper,as an attempt to combine the theory of "zone of proximal development" with the teaching of high school ideological and political courses,mainly discusses how the theory of "zone of proximal development" can provide reference strategies for the improvement of high school ideological and political courses.There are several parts in this article:The first part is an introduction,which first explains the reason and significance of the research.Secondly,the domestic and foreign research status of the theory of "zone of proximal development" is analyzed.Finally,the research methods and ideas of this paper are explained.The second part summarizes the theory of Vygotsky.Primarily,the definition of the theory is explained.Secondly,two levels of development and how to determine the "zone of proximal development";Finally,the feasibility of the theory of the zone of proximal development in guiding teaching,especially in senior high school ideological and political teaching,is analyzed.The third part is the analysis of the application of this theory in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses.By means of questionnaire survey,the application status of this theory of Vygotsky in the teaching of senior high school ideological and political course was investigated.Based on the survey results,the author analyzed and summarized the areas that need to be improved and improved in every link of the teaching of senior high school ideological and political course in China,so as to provide real data support for further improvement strategies.The fourth part analyzes how to use the "zone of proximal development" theory to further improve the political teaching of senior high school to provide reference strategies.Firstly,teachers need to strengthen the study of the theory of "zone of proximal development".Secondly,identify the "zone of proximal development" as the starting point of teaching design;Thirdly,according to the difference of the "zone of proximal development",the teaching is divided into different levels.Then,according to the "zone of proximal development",the dynamic teaching evaluation is concerned;Finally,based on the "zone of proximal development" implementation of student-based teaching reflection.The theory of "zone of proximal development" runs through every link of the political teaching in senior high school.
