In recent years,with the increasing value of picture books,a boom in the reading and creation of picture books has emerged in China.In this craze,China’s original children’s picture books have achieved impressive results.However,there are also development difficulties behind the impressive achievements.In order to better promote the development of Chinese original children’s picture books,this study takes the award-winning works of Feng Zikai Children’s Picture Book Award and Japan Picture Book Award as the research object,through the literature method,comparative research method,text analysis method and interview method.Japanese children’s picture books are compared.Based on this,we put forward suggestions and hope to contribute to the development of Chinese original children’s picture books.This study is mainly divided into three parts.In the first part,this study sorts out the development history of children’s picture books in China and Japan from a historical perspective.Through the analysis of domestic literature,the development history of Chinese children’s picture books is divided into the origin of picture books before the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the germination of children’s picture books during the Republic of China,the initial development of children’s picture books after the founding of New China,and the prosperity and development period of children’s picture books in the early 21st century.Stages.Through the analysis of foreign literature,the development process of Japanese children’s picture books is summarized as the picture book before the Edo period,the children’s picture book before the Emerald era to the World War Ⅱ,and the children’s picture book after World War II.On this basis,it has been found that the development of children’s picture books in China and Japan has experienced mutual learning and mutual influence.The two have deep roots.In the second part,this study compares the classic children’s picture books between China and Japan,and analyzes the commonalities and differences between Chinese and Japanese classic children’s picture books in five aspects:subject matter,theme,content,language style and painting characteristics.Induction and analysis.In general,the elements of the classic children’s picture books of China and Japan come from the real life of children and reflect the real life of children.However,China’s classic children’s picture books tend to be realistic,educational,and slightly lacking in fun;Japan’s classic children’s picture books tend to be"smart",paying attention to "meaningless meaning"and interesting.The two can be described as different styles.In order to further understand the application of two styles of children’s picture books in kindergarten,this study takes the representative of "Reunion" and "The Fall of the Lili" in the classic children’s picture books of China and Japan as an interview tool from the perspective of investigation and analysis.Interviews were conducted with 38 large class children in W Kindergarten in W City to understand and analyze children’s preferences and reasons for the classic children’s picture books of China and Japan.In the third part,based on the above analysis,this study puts forward the following suggestions on the creation of Chinese original children’s picture books from five aspects:subject matter,theme,content,language style and painting characteristics:from children’s "expectation vision" Light up the "children’s heart" in the theme;carry out the"game spirit"in the content;embody the "children’s interest"in the text;highlight the charm of children’s paintings in the picture.
