Perseverance is a psychological process in which a person consciously organizes his own actions in order to achieve a certain goal and is linked with overcoming difficulties.Perseverance quality,as an important part of psychology,has become a hot research topic in psychology.Junior high school students are at puberty,which is a rapid stage of physical and mental development and a golden period of all-round development of physical functions.However,with the constant improvement of living standard,the detection rate of poor eyesight and obesity among teenagers is increasing,the physical qualities such as endurance,speed and strength are declining,and the health status is in urgent need.The healthy growth of junior high school students is related to the future of the country and the hope of the nation,as well as the happiness of each family and the harmony and stability of the whole society.Therefore,it is urgent to guide and encourage junior high school students to participate in physical exercise activities and promote the all-round development of physical and mental health.In this study,1021 junior high school students were investigated.The relationship between junior high school students' physical exercise activities and their perseverance level was taken as the research object.The basic status of junior high school students' physical exercise activities was investigated by using the revised physical activity rating scale of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education such as Liang Deqing.At the same time,the perseverance level of junior high school students was tested by combining the revised "Chinese version simple perseverance questionnaire" of Wang Dandan,and the relationship between junior high school students' physical exercise activities and perseverance level was analyzed by combining their academic achievements.The conclusions are as follows:(1)67.5% of junior high school students are below the average level of physical exercise activities,especially girls;The percentage of junior high school students whose physical exercise duration is less than half an hour is 73.9%.The key to theteaching reform of junior high school physical education is that the level of physical exercise activities and the time of physical exercise do not meet the standards and their differences in gender.(2)The perseverance level of junior high school students consists of two dimensions: effort factor and interest factor;The stamina level of junior high school students is generally in the middle level.The students of different grades have significant differences in perseverance level and their interest factors.There are significant differences in the level of perseverance and the dimensions of effort factors between the students who are left behind or not.There are significant differences in the persistence level and two dimensions of junior high school students with different academic achievements.(3)The intensity,time and frequency of junior high school students' physical exercise activities are positively correlated with the level of perseverance,effort factors and interest factors.The higher the intensity,time and frequency of junior high school students' physical exercise activities,the higher the level of perseverance of junior high school students.The intensity,time and frequency of junior high school students' physical exercises can effectively predict their perseverance level to a certain extent.From the intensity,time and frequency of physical exercise,it will increase the amount of physical exercise for junior high school students and improve their perseverance level.
