Positive psychological quality will affect the personal quality of students,and the development of students' positive cognition,emotions and behaviors cannot be separated from school education.Perseverance is defined as maintaining passion and endurance for long-term goals.It is a type of personality that includes self-motivation,restraint,and adjustment.Middle school students in high school are still developing their physiology and psychology.Under the influence of family,school education and social life,the improvement of perseverance is at a critical stage.This study uses Duckworth's resilience scale to measure the first-year students in a senior high school in Shenyang to understand the current status of high school students and whether there is a difference in gender.Two classes with the same level of resilience were selected through homogeneity tests.One class is the experimental group and the other is the control group.Based on Duckworth's perseverance theory,it focuses on the four aspects of perseverance: passion,self-control,anti-frustration,and persistence,and designs a plan to improve the level of perseverance in accordance with the characteristics of psychological development of freshman students.Improve the level of perseverance in implementing the program in the experimental group,and take traditional mental health classes in the control group.Descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test,and paired sample t-test were performed on the data with spss21.0 to explore the effect of the scheme designed by this research on the improvement of the tenacity of senior students and whether the scheme has stability and durability.The results of the study show that:(1)The overall tenacity of senior high school students and their two dimensions are both at a medium level.From the consistency of overall tenacity and interest,there is a significant difference in the level of perseverance of first-year boys and girls.There is no difference in the persistence dimension.(2)This study devised a set of perseverance level improvement schemes to improve the perseverance level of high school students,which effectively improved the perseverance level of students in the experimental group.The two dimensions ofconsistency of interest and endurance of efforts have been significantly improved.(3)There is no significant difference in the level of perseverance between the post-test and the follow-up test of the experimental group of this research.The plan for improving the level of perseverance of the freshman in high school has a certain persistence.This study explores the process of improving the level of perseverance of high school students and proposes three points of education suggestions:(1)parents should love their children appropriately in family education.(2)incorporate the idea of increasing level of perseverance into school education.(3)Strive to improve students' growth thinking ability.
