This paper studies the cultural self-confidence of students in the process of history teaching in senior high school.The focus of this paper is to explore the ways and methods of integrating history teaching with cultivating students' cultural self-confidence in the classroom of high school history teaching.This research is mainly based on the following aspects: Firstly,the Party and the State have put forward the strategy of strengthening the country by building a socialist culture.Secondly,history,as the main subject of humanities,must take on the heavy responsibility of cultivating cultural self-confidence.Thirdly,it is a critical time for senior high school students to cultivate their cultural self-confidence and develop their values in culture and life.This article adopts the following research instruments: literature research,questionnaires and interviews.In the process of the research,the writer conducted face-to-face interviews with some history teachers in No.4 senior high school in Taixing,Jiangsu province and listened to the voices and opinions of the front-line teachers to know about the problems and confusion of cultural self-confidence training in high school history teaching.So the research is more targeted in making the strategy and case study and has significant meaning in the cultivation of cultural self-confidence both in history teaching and in the teaching of other subjects.This paper is made up of four parts and its structures are as follows:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the rise of cultural self-confidence research and its connotation and significance.The current situation of the research and the problems existing in it are also introduced in this part.It also introduces the ideas,methods and innovations of the cultivation of cultural self-confidence.The next part of the paper is the first chapter,which studies the basic theory of teaching cultural self-confidence in senior high school and analyzes the concept and generation of high school students' cultural self-confidence.Then it further elaborates the necessity of cultivating cultural self-confidence in history teaching in high school and the advantages it has over other subjects in the cultivation of cultural self-confidence.Then comes the second chapter.In this chapter,the current situation of the teaching of cultural self-confidence in history class is presented.Through investigations,the writer finds many problems existing in history teaching.For example: the teachers pay insufficient attention to cultural self-confidence education and the creation of historical situations;and there are no teaching evaluations to support the teaching of the cultural self-confidence.The third chapter explores the strategy of cultural self-confidence education in history teaching.According to the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the cultural self-confidence education,this paper puts forward some suggestions about the development and utilization of curriculum resources,the planning and implementation of the goals of emotional values,the application of educational teaching methods and the improvement of teaching evaluation system.We can find from the research that cultivating students' cultural self-confidence in history teaching has its subject advantages and unique values.First of all,the history textbooks contains rich materials in cultural self-confidence education,which strengthens students' cognition of the cultures in China and even around the world.Secondly,in the history classroom,students can feel the ups and downs of the nation's destiny and sense the real-life figures in history,which can help the students experience history by themselves more easily and raise their awareness of taking responsibility for the country and the nation and identifying it.Through the use of various teaching methods in the process of history teaching,students' sense of history is developed and they can re-examine the historical cultures and have a better understanding of the historical values and modern significance of cultures.In particular,making good use of the historical materials can train students' awareness of historical evidence,help them have their own judgement on the advantages and disadvantages of cultures and make their own choice about accepting or rejecting cultural content.They will no longer follow the crowd but have their opinions about the historical cultures,which is beneficial to the inheritance and innovation of culture.In short,cultivating cultural self-confidence is necessary in high school history teaching.
