Cultural self-confidence is the cultural subject's full affirmation of its own culture and its value,and a positive attitude towards the future of its own cultural development.Cultural confidence is rooted in the excellent Chinese traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,and manifests the qualities of Chinese national culture.General Secretary Xi Jinping has clearly stated that cultural confidence is a more fundamental,broader and deeper confidence than road confidence,theoretical confidence and institutional confidence.Cultivating cultural self-confidence among junior high school students is a need for young people's own growth and all-round development,as well as for the development of the times and the advancement of society.Because of its rich cultural resources and its humanistic educational functions,the subject of junior secondary history is uniquely advantageous for cultivating students' cultural confidence.Cultivating students' cultural confidence in junior high school history teaching is conducive to improving students' knowledge of Chinese culture and cultivating their humanistic literacy;it is conducive to enhancing students' value identification with Chinese culture and establishing a correct cultural outlook;it is conducive to cultivating students' sentiments and promoting the formation of students' core literacy in history subjects.This thesis consists of three parts: the introduction,the body and the conclusion.The introductory part clarifies the reason for choosing the topic,the significance of the study,a review of domestic and international research and the research methodology.The first chapter of the main text explains the concept of culture and cultural confidence,discusses the necessity and feasibility of cultivating cultural confidence in junior high school history teaching,and puts forward certain requirements for junior high school students' cultural confidence.Chapter Two identifies the problems in the cultivation of cultural confidence in junior high school history teaching through a survey of Tianjiaping Experimental Middle School in Mudanjiang City.Chapter Three addresses the problems found in the survey and proposes corresponding cultivation strategies in terms of improving students' systematic knowledge of Chinese culture,enriching the cultural resources in the history curriculum,enhancing the cultural literacy of history teachers,actively carrying out cultural practice activities inside and outside the classroom,and improving the evaluation mechanism for cultivating cultural confidence.Chapter four discusses the evaluation analysis of strategies for developing cultural confidence among junior high school students and presents a complete teaching lesson example for reference.The concluding section composes the research findings in the thesis.
