A Study On The Impact Of Public Education Finance Expenditure On Residents' Satisfaction With Education Services

Public financial expenditure is the most important guarantee and influence factor of the social public service supply.As a part of education,public education service has received the general concern of the government and the public.At present,most of the research on the satisfaction degree of the public domain in our country only goes to the level of public service,and there is little research on the satisfaction degree of the public education service in the deeper level.The research on the influence of public education expenditure on residents'satisfaction with education service is not enough,and the empirical research is very few.Based on the national survey data and macro statistics,this paper makes a systematic empirical analysis of the relationship between public education expenditure and residents'satisfaction with education services from the perspective of supply-demand matching.Specifically,it includes:(1)At the overall level:the impact of public education expenditure on the overall satisfaction of residents'education services;(different education stages)the impact of student average expenditure on residents' education service satisfaction;(2)Specific dimensions:the influence of individual heterogeneity of residents(minor children,Registered residence,domicile)on the relationship between public education expenditure and residents'satisfaction with education services.To determine the impact degree and direction of these factors on residents'satisfaction with public education services,to explore the characteristics of differences in residents' demand for public services,and to improve the supply mode of public education services.The study found that(1)on the overall level,the improvement of education expenditure has a significant effect on the overall satisfaction of public education services.Among them,the per capita education expenditure,the proportion of the fiscal education expenditure to the fiscal expenditure has a significant positive effect on the overall satisfaction of the public education service;The proportion of fiscal expenditure to GDP also has a very significant effect on the overall satisfaction of public education services,but it is a negative effect.The average expenditure on education has a positive effect on the satisfaction of public education service in various stages.Among them,The education expenditure per student in nine-year compulsory stage and vocational education stage has a significant positive effect on the satisfaction degree of public education service.Moreover,with the increase of expenditure on education per student in the same proportion,the biggest increase in satisfaction is vocational education,followed by nine-year compulsory education,while in high school education and pre-school education increase with is relatively small.(2)specific dimensions.In terms of overall satisfaction and educational service satisfaction,individual heterogeneity of residents will affect the relationship bet-ween public education expenditure and residents'educational service satisfaction.On the basis of empirical research,the paper further puts forward policy suggestions,including increasing public education financial input,promoting reform and innovation,enhancing the matching degree of supply and demand of public education services,and then improving the supply efficiency,and pushing forward the education reform by classification.We will promote attention to both non-registered population and household registered population,pay attention to both rural and urban residents,and build a service-oriented government to improve the service quality of government basic public services.
