Education is the foundation of the centenary plan.Basic education in the national education system in the basic and leading position.The state attaches great importance to the development of education,while emphasizing the integration of urban and rural compulsory education,improving the quality of education and paying attention to educational equity.With the attention of the country and all walks of life to the educational cause of our country,the academic achievement of children has aroused the continuous attention of the academic circle.Academic performance is not only the core index to measure students' academic achievement,but also the main basis of development evaluation of schools at all levels.In this paper,based on the existing research,from the capital theory and human capital theory,bourdieu Rosenthal effect,build a family on the impact of social and economic status on children grades theoretical framework,using the data from the CFPS2016 years through qualitative research and quantitative research methods,social economic status of family how to influence their parents education participation to influence children's academic performance.This paper examines the effect of family socioeconomic status on the academic performance of children using data from the China family tracking survey(CFPS)in 2016.Research findings :(1)the socioeconomic status of families influences the academic performance of children.Even in the compulsory education stage,there are great differences in the academic performance of children with different socioeconomic status.(2)all the four dimensions of parental involvement play a significant positive role in the academic performance of the offspring.(3)parental educational participation plays an intermediary role in the process of family socioeconomic status affecting children's academic performance,and there is heterogeneity in parental educational participation.Finally,based on the conclusions of this paper,strategies and Suggestions for improving children's academic performance and promoting children's development are proposed from the macro,medium and micro perspectives.(1)local governments should increase investment in education to promote balanced development of education.(2)schools should improve teaching quality and enhance teachers' working enthusiasm.(3)parents should establish correct educational concepts and adjust the way of educational participation.This paper discusses the influence mechanism of family socioeconomic status on children's academic performance,providing theoretical support for further discussion on the influence of family socioeconomic status and parental involvement on children's academic performance.Meanwhile,relevant data of children aged 4-15 years old in CFPS database in 2016 are used to provide richer data support for the empirical analysis of this paper.The shortcomings of the study are as follows: relatively speaking,the scope of sample coverage is relatively limited,and the sampling selection of samples is not large-scale stratified random sampling;The author just puts forward the personal relatively simple view according to the existing data,has certain limitation.
