Research On Social Support Issues Of Domestic Women Workers

Since the reform and opening up,my country's political service industry has made great progress.At the same time,the team of domestic women workers,the main force supporting the domestic service industry,has grown stronger.As a dual vulnerable group in the labor market,the issue of social support for domestic women workers has received wide attention from all walks of life.At this stage,although the academic circles in China have studied related issues,the research results are relatively few.Therefore,this study takes the social support theory as the starting point,adopts the questionnaire survey method and the case interview method,takes Jinan City as the sample source,conducts an investigation on the current social support status of female domestic workers in Jinan,and deeply analyzes the existing problems of social support for female domestic workers.The causes of these problems are explained,and the corresponding solutions are proposed on this basis.The study found that formal social support mainly provides instrumental support for domestic women workers,in which the government provides strong policy support and economic support;social organizations use professional advantages to provide more comprehensive service support for domestic women workers;The housekeeping company provides training support and is conducive to the career development of domestic women workers.At the same time,female domestic workers have obtained more emotional support,information support and a small amount of behavior support from informal social support.Among them,the kinship support with family ties is the core of non-positive support;the neighborhood support and friend support with geographical connection are useful supplements for informal support;employer support with karma as the link,also meets the emotional needs of domestic women workers.It played an important role.However,there are still some shortcomings in the current social support of domestic women workers.On the one hand,formal social support represented by the government has not played a leading role,and formal social support subjects have made insufficient contributions to the support of domestic women workers,and they still cannot meet the actual needs of domestic women workers.On the other hand,the informal support of female domestic workers presents the characteristics of instability and individualization,and it is unable to provide sustained and strong supportfor domestic women workers.In this regard,the author analyzes the causes from the two dimensions of formal support and informal support,and finds that the lack of social support for female domestic workers and the lack of government main responsibility,the restriction of traditional concepts,the weak sense of development of domestic women workers,and the lack of social relations capital.Association.In view of the above shortcomings,the author takes a multi-party collaborative participation strategy and proposes relevant suggestions for improving the social support path of domestic women workers,including the following aspects: First,improve the system supply and strengthen the government's leading role;second,integrate social resources.Construct a group support platform;third,consolidate informal support and strengthen its capacity building.Through a series of countermeasures and suggestions,the aim is to help domestic women workers improve their ability to cope with problems and difficulties,thereby changing their weak position and sharing the fruits of social development.
