With the progress of our society and the continuous advancement of educational reform,more and more people are aware of the importance of quality education.Physical experiment and quality education complement each other and develop together.However,in areas where backward in education,physical experiment can not be fully emphasized.The students' thought of "what the school examines,what the teacher teaches and what the students do" is deeply rooted.In this paper,the author chooses Gongxian County,Yibin City,Sichuan Province,which is more representative in remote areas,and conducts a survey of three schools in this area.In order to find out the problems and analyze the reasons,I made a thorough investigation of Gongxian Middle School,Xunchang Middle School and Shamushu Middle School by means of literature research,interviews and questionnaire survey.According to the Rules for Assessment of Experimental Teaching in Sichuan Primary and Secondary Schools issued by Sichuan Education Department,the results of the questionnaire survey were graded and quantitatively analyzed.The subjects included teachers and students.Teachers'survey focus on implementation of experimental teaching,including:1.the general situation of school physics laboratory;2.the equipment of experiment;3.the basic quality of teachers;4.teachers' innovative consciousness;5.teachers' guidance to students in experiments;6.teachers' operation of physics experiment teaching;7.attitude to physics experiment of school.Student surveys focus on experimental results,including:1.Interest in physics learning;2.Satisfaction with current physics learning;3.Attention to physics experiments;4.Experimental operation skills;5.Detection of basic knowledge;6.Acceptance of teachers' experimental teaching;7.Time requirements for experiments;8.Understanding of the role of physics experiments;9.Opinions and expectations for our physics laboratory.During the investigation,I found many problems in physical experiment teaching in remote areas.1.Teachers do not attach enough importance to it;2.Teachers do not make strict demand on themselves;3.School do not give full encouragement to experimental teaching;4.Students still ignore the role of experiment and there is a phenomenon of "recitation experiment".In view of this situation,I hope that the school will encourage students to participate in more scientific and technological activities,organize more competitions,intensify curriculum development,and improve teachers own quality and experimental inquiry consciousness.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,we hope that the quality of experimental teaching in remote areas can be improved.
