The new curriculum standard of primary school mathematics highlights the educational concept of "people-oriented",which points out that teachers' teaching should face all students,and pay attention to teaching in accordance with their aptitude.Today,whether the mathematics teaching in the middle grade of primary school meets the new requirements of the mathematics curriculum standard or not,and whether the teachers teach students in accordance with their aptitude in teaching deserves to be studied and rethought.Based on the constructivist learning theory,the theory of "the nearest development zone" and the theory of meaningful learning,this paper analyses the characteristics of middle-grade pupils and mathematics content in primary schools.It introduces the characteristics of middle-grade pupils in primary schools from three aspects:perception and thinking,general cognitive characteristics and mathematical cognitive characteristics.It also introduces the characteristics of middle-grade pupils in primary schools from two aspects:the characteristics of mathematics subject in middle-grade pupils and the analysis of teaching contents.This study collects data from F Primary School of Baoding City by means of literature,observation and interview,observes the teaching situation of teachers and the information of interaction with students,and understands teachers'understanding and practice of teaching according to their aptitude.Studying and analyzing the present situation of mathematics teachers teaching in accordance with their aptitude in middle grades of primary school,we find that mathematics teachers in middle grades of primary school have a certain understanding of teaching in accordance with their aptitude,but there is a gap between teaching ideal and teaching reality.Sometimes teachers are unconscious of teaching in accordance with their aptitude in actual teaching,but when asked about the specific behavior of teachers in teaching,teachers can tell their performance of teaching students according to their aptitude.Through observation and interviews,it is found that there are some problems existing in the current teaching of mathematics teachers in middle grades of primary school according to their aptitude:insufficient understanding of students;weakening students' sense of participation;and deviations in teachers' attention.Through attribution analysis of the problems existing in teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,it is found that teachers have not effectively combined the teaching idea of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude with the teaching practice,and there is a contradiction between teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and facing the whole in the teaching practice.According to the results of the investigation and attribution analysis,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for middle school mathematics teachers to teach students in accordance with their aptitude:to understand their learning situation in depth;to improve the form of class teaching,we can adopt stratified teaching and use various forms of teaching organization;to further process the teaching content,including in-depth processing of classroom teaching content and practice content.
