Talent cultivation is the fundamental element in the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education. The balanced development of basic education construction in the early stage of talent training has been closely watched by scholars from all walks of life. However, basic education resources have always had problems such as uneven spatial distribution and obvious regional differences. With the development of social development, education strategy and the needs of basic education in Wuhan, the demand for the spatialization of basic education science is increasing.Spatial analysis is an important means to study the allocation of educational resources in the region and improve the efficiency of education. This paper takes Wuhan Sub-urban District as the research area to carry out the spatial analysis of basic education resources, and hopes to promote the basic education allocation research of large cities in China. Therefore,it is necessary to understand the spatial variation characteristics of basic education in Wuhan. The study of spatial accessibility and balance is of great significance to the spatial structure adjustment of basic education resources in Wuhan, and has certain reference value for China's basic education planning. This study takes the basic education resources:elementary school and middle school points,as the research object, and uses the auxiliary data such as settlements, population and roads to study the basic education resources of Wuhan Sub-urban District during the period of 2007-2017 based on GIS spatial analysis and network analysis.Based on the characteristics of time and space, this paper analyzes the accessibility and changes of basic education resources in Wuhan during this decade, and builds a comprehensive evaluation standard of basic education resources in Wuhan based on this, and comprehensively analyzes the allocation of basic education resources in Wuhan.Satisfaction and balance, and made corresponding layout optimization suggestions for research findings. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The number of basic education resources in Sub-urban District of Wuhan continued to decrease between 2007 and 2017,and the decrease was more obvious in 2007-2012.The number of primary schools decreased more significantly. The basic education resources of Wuhan Sub-urban District have obviously moved closer to the central city in 2007-2012,but this phenomenon has subsided in 2012-2017.The spatial changes in primary and secondary schools are more concentrated in Xinzhou District and Jiangxia District.(2)The spatial accessibility of basic education resources in Sub-urban District of Wuhan showed a downward trend as a whole, but this trend has eased in 2012-2017,and the educational resources in different urban areas have been reduced in terms of spatial accessibility compared with ten years ago.Among them, the indicators of the spatial accessibility of basic education resources after the adjustment of spatial layout in Jiangxia District are significantly lower than the average level of Wuhan.(3)The allocation level of basic education resources in Sub-urban District of Wuhan has decreased after the first reduction in 2007-2017.The period from 2007 to 2012 is the comprehensive decline of basic education in Sub-urban District of Wuhan. The evaluations have been greatly reduced. The decline of 20.1%in Xinzhou District is most obvious in all the far-off cities of Wuhan. In 2012-2017,most of the basic education resource allocation levels in Wuhan have rebounded, and the Huangpi District has only a slight decline. The decline in Hannan District also dropped significantly. The allocation level of basic education resources in Dongxihu District ranks first in all the far-off cities of Wuhan, followed by Caidian District, followed by Jiangxia District and the level of basic education resources allocation in other far-away areas.(4)In view of the continuous decrease in the number of spatial accessibility in the remote urban area of Wuhan from 2007 to 2017,combined with the comprehensive evaluation results of basic education resources, this paper proposes to increase education expenditure to coordinate regional development, and to provide basic education services for Wuhan Sub-urban District. With less coverage,it proposes to strengthen the construction of basic education facilities in Wuhan secondary schools to expand their service radius. At the same time, based on the optimal path obtained by network analysis, the corresponding service areas are adjusted, and the weak areas are supplemented by social economy, policies and infrastructure.Construction and other related support,to achieve a scientific and balanced development of the basic education of Wuhan.
