In recent years,the theoretical and practical research on geographical key competence has been enriched,and the use of information technology to cultivate students' key competence has gradually become a hot topic of academic research.As a professional weather software,MeteoEarth has rich teaching resources and is of great significance for the cultivation of students' key competence.This paper analyzes the feasibility and applicability of MeteoEarth in high school physical geography textbooks.On this basis,the questionnaire survey method is used to evaluate the classroom teaching effect,and the corresponding training strategies are proposed to try to enrich the path of improving students' key competence.This article mainly includes the following six parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research status of key competence and mobile APP.Key competence is a must-have character and key ability that students should have to meet the needs of lifelong development and social development.Geographic key competence is a concentrated expression of the value of geography education,including comprehensive thinking,regional cognition,geographical practice and human-to-land coordination,MeteoEarth is a weather and climate mobile App that provides a practical platform for the cultivation of geographic key competence.The second chapter is the theoretical basis and practical basis.From a theoretical point of view,the landing of geography key competence and the smooth implementation of classroom teaching in the new era require information technology as a tool;from a practical point of view,MeteoEarth is inexpensive,has a wide range of uses and has a certain research foundation in teaching.It has broad application prospects in geography teaching.The third chapter is the applicable domain analysis of MeteoEarth in high school physical geography teaching.Through the analysis of high school physical geography textbooks and the corresponding functions of MeteoEarth,it is found that the functions of MeteoEarth have many fits with the content of the textbooks,and there are a wide range of applicable fields in the textbooks.The fourth chapter is empirical research.Apply MeteoEarth to teaching practice and analyze the results of the questionnaire.The following conclusions are drawn:?Most students have certain knowledge and good operational ability in geographic information technology;?students have a strong interest in geographic information technology.The main reason why current information technology cannot be widely used in classrooms is teachers' ability to operate is limited;?MeteoEarth has the most significant effect on the development of geographic practice,mainly reflectd in the improvement of student software application and drawing ability.?The cultivation of comprehensive thinking and regional cognition is mainly reflected in students' ability to visually perceive abstract geographical things and understand geographical principles.The cultivation of human-land coordination concept is mainly reflected in students' ability to understand the occurrence and development process of geographical things and establish the concept of human-land harmonious development.The fifth chapter is the strategy research.To cultivate comprehensive thinking,we must rationally develop resources and highlight the scale of thinking in order to build a knowledge system with the help of mind mapping.Cultivate regional cognition to optimize the image system,strengthen regional cognition;focus on regional issues and learn analytical methods;dialectically treat problems and make reasonable evaluations.To cultivate geography practice,it is necessary to improve teachers' ability and give full play to software functions;to make teaching appropriate by carrying out diversified practical activities;to cultivate a harmonious view of people to select cases and create real situations;focus on the process and build advanced learning.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.It mainly summarizes the conclusions drawn in this paper and puts forward the inadequacies and research prospects.
