With the rapid development of global information technology,especially the popularization of information technology and the rapid development of network technology in various fields,the application of information technology in teaching is more and more extensive.This also requires the geography teacher from the teaching idea,the information technology control ability,the teaching method and the teaching method and so on aspects must correspondingly change and the promotion.This paper first introduces the object and content of the integration of information technology and teaching,as well as the research status of the application of information technology in classroom teaching,and lists four application forms of information technology in geography teaching:traditional multimedia teaching,tablet teaching,mobile teaching,GIS technology assisted teaching.And use the case study and questionnaire survey in two forms,between teachers and students in a random selection of ordos experimental middle school class and traditional class's and grade's students at the beginning of wisdom as investigation object,through comparison of teaching process and teaching effect will be wisdom class compared with the traditional class,investigate them in the same class(grade seven o 'clock top volume-Japan)preparation,learning process,and the different degree of learning,analyzes the traditional teaching and the application of information technology class teaching "wisdom",found that wisdom classroom teaching result is superior to traditional classroom.It also focuses on the analysis of the application of video teaching in junior high school geography teaching,and finds that the application of the organic combination of geographic film and television resources and text course resources in geography textbooks can make up for the deficiency of paper textbooks and is conducive to the realization of geography course teaching objectives.Second respectively of students,teachers,and two kinds of model of classroom survey results are analyzed and summarized the geography classroom teaching under the information technology with emphasis on the realization of the new type of teaching goal,the application of image system,attention to the cultivation of students' cooperative learning ability,attach importance to cultivating students' ability to analyze and solve problems,attaches great importance to the students' ability of cooperation to explore,the advantage of importance to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning,and information technology in geography teaching should follow the principle of knowledge,take the student as the main body principle,highlights the principle of functional,vividness and generalized of map application five principles.The application and practice of the integration of geography teaching content under information technology in the integration of lesson preparation resources and information technology,textbook resources and information technology,as well as the integration of in-class testing,after-class testing and information technology are also given.Finally,the above research conclusions are applied to the case design of geography teaching supported by information technology in the section of "Brazil",and the teaching reflection is carried out.It is concluded that the monitoring of the application of information technology needs the joint efforts of teachers and students,students should enhance their self-control training,teachers should do a good job in guiding and demonstrating,strengthen the construction of various teaching platforms and monitoring systems,promote the perfect combination of modern technology and traditional technology,and give play to the advantages of integration.
