Chinese puppetry is also called "puppet show" with a long history.Puppetry in southern Fujian is an extremely important category of Chinese puppetry,it has its own unique style:accompanied by many rare instruments,puppet artists use their unique skills to perform all kinds of scripts that conform to the aesthetic style of people in southern Fujian.In terms of the types and carving methods of puppets,southern Fujian puppets also have unique characteristics.The representative puppet types in southern Fujian are the marionettes and sack puppets,with the living fossil of Chinese language "Southern Fujian dialect",it is even more unique.However,such a representative culture and art gradually decline in the long river of history,Art education in primary school is the first step of art course education,it is also the stage of basic and enlightenment education,integrating puppet art into the art course of primary school is also an important measure to popularize puppet culture and protect national intangible cultural heritage.Let puppetry move into primary school art class,not only can inherit and protect this endangered art,but also cultivate students' comprehensive ability.The bright colors of the puppets,rich and varied modeling movements and exaggerated expression of things are similar to the art creation of primary school students.In the process of experiencing the puppetry,making the puppetry script can exercise the students' comprehensive abilities in Chinese,music,arts,Southern Fujian dialect and other disciplines,it not only applied to the art of knowledge,but also the ability to generalize across disciplines.The process of making puppets is to exercise the eyes,hands,brain and other organs,in addition to inheriting traditional folk culture,but also can exercise to the students'multiple abilities.Finally,the performance of puppetry can let them learn to work together,use the power of the collective and together to complete such a complete play.This paper is divided into three parts to study the development and application of southern Fujian puppetry in the art manual class of primary school,the first part mainly summarizes the origin and characteristics of southern Fujian puppetry,introduces two kinds of puppets,marionette and sack puppets,and gives a brief explanation on their own image characteristics and performance characteristics.The second part is also the central part of this paper,mainly introduces the method of introducing southern Fujian puppetry into art class of primary school,from the understanding of puppets,bring the puppet into the classroom,let the students get close to the concept of puppets,get more intuitive understanding of the puppets.After having a certain cognitive basis,lead the students to make the body parts of the puppet,so understand the characteristics of the puppet can be more precisely.Finally,after the completion of production,the groups give performance.In this way,students can have a complete concept of puppets and puppetry,in the second part,the author attached some implementation cases for students of different ages and carried on the teaching reflection for different courses.In the third part,this paper expounds the significance of introducing southern Fujian puppetry into art class of primary school.It not only broadens the art education resources of primary school,inherits and protects the folk traditional culture and art,but also exercises comprehensive ability of students.
